Gerardo is very fair and honest, he does repairs while you wait (if he & his son are not to busy. Great local mechanic, I would recommend his shop in the Elizabeth, Roselle Park area If you need an honest dependable mechanic!

I came here because my check engine light, And my truck kept dying overnight. the owner was very nice and knowledgeable he got my truck done super fast and exactly how I asked him to, he got it done in a few hours I didn’t have to wait overnight for my truck back if ure in elizebeth New Jersey this is the place to go every other place I stoped at was shady and looked like they could care less about wanting to be there, I’m from Houston and drive state to state for work and if I’m anywhere in new Jersey again and need machanic work this is we’re I will come regardless of drive!Services: Battery

My husband and I were on our way home from a dr’s appointment in Elizabeth when smoke started coming out from under the hood and from the exhaust. We pulled into a gas station on the way to the Parkway, and my husband knew it was a leak from one of the hoses. We live about 25 miles away in Morris County so we couldn’t risk driving home. We went to Pep Boys and they couldn’t even look at the car for five hours. Husband remembered seeing Gerardo’s on our way, so we headed there. The owner and his son were incredibly kind and professional. I drive an older car and the part to attach the new coolant hose was hard to find. We waited three hours and then the owner left to go pick up the part himself. He fixed it quickly and took the time to run the car for a while to make sure we were in good shape for our drive home. (By the way, my husband recently had surgery and is in a walking cast and can’t walk much so I was even more worried about getting him safely home.) The owner didn’t try to sell us any extra repairs, he said nothing until my husband asked how the engine looked in general at which point Gerardo (I assume that’s the owner’s name ) told us we should probably replace all the hoses because they’re very old.Price was more than reasonable, it was truly a pleasure to meet the owner and his son, truly caring and professional people. If we lived closer Gerardo’s would be our regular mechanic. Recommended most highly for honesty and professionalism
