Scored an after work appointment, and the shop was very accommodating when I ran late from traffic. The space was clean, and quiet because it was nearly closing time. The stylist was very friendly to me & my husband, and very sweet with my daughter.
My experience was bad because of the haircut itself.
I asked the stylist to trim my 10 month old’s hair, because it was getting long on top, and specified that we don’t want to cut too much off from her curls. The stylist took off way too much.
She confirmed the length on the first cut, but then continued cutting.
When I expressed concern about the length, she told me it was fine and that my baby’s curls would still show (if I put product in it…which, I’m not doing. I gave no indication that we style my infant’s hair.)
The final cut is too short to be considered a pixie cut. Her curls are gone, the hair is choppy and uneven in the back, and even shorter on the sides than when my husband gets his hair cut. Her bow barrettes have nothing to clip onto because the hair is so short.
I know hair will grow back, but to be blunt, I am pissed about this experience

Nila provided an exceptional experience from the moment we arrived. Despite being a few minutes late, she greeted my son and me with the utmost patience and warmth. This was our third visit to the salon, and each time, Nila's and the other beauticians services reaffirm why we keep coming back.
Nila's sweet and kind demeanor put my son at ease immediately. She consistently checked with me before making any changes, which I greatly appreciated. Her ability to keep my son calm and comfortable, even engaging him with sweet conversation and singing, truly stands out.
Thank you, Nila, for another fantastic visit! The kindness and professionalism shown to my son and me make every trip to the salon a pleasure.

This is our 3rd visit and second time in the Nila cutting our daughter's hair. Nila is so calm and patient. Her energy rubs off on our daughter too. It's been such a pleasant experience that our daughter asks us to go get a hair cut before we mention it. Very happy we found Snip-its and Nila.

We have been coming to snip-it's for years and they have always given my boys great haircuts and been very accommodating. One of my sons is autistic and they have gone above and beyond to get us the right stylist and make my son comfortable. Special shout out to Leny for her patience and kindness towards my son. She has made such progress making my son comfortable and making a difficult situation easier on all of us.

Larissa was great as usual! This was her fourth time cutting our 2 year old’s hair and she is so sweet. She makes him feel safe and makes the haircut an enjoyable experience. She always has toys for him to play with & cartoons on to keep him distracted and she even allowed us to wait for his grandma to get there so she could watch him get his haircut. Kudos!

We've been coming here for 7 years, but recently took a long break. It's gotten worse and worse and this most recent visit today will be our last one.
My son's hair is extremely uneven on the sides, he has random long hairs by his ears, and the front/top is a full 2 inches longer on one side than the other.
My daughter's hair was NOTHING like the photo she requested and they put glitter and stickers on her face without asking.
The WORST part: The person working at the station next to us had no customers and sat there watching inappropriate TikToks and kept turning the sound up louder and louder. She eventually got to one with non-stop cursing and F-bombs and I had to go to her and ask her to turn it down. She apologized and literally just turned it down and swiped to a different video instead of closing the app completely and being even slightly professional. My daughter later heard me venting to my husband and she said, "yeah, I was listening and learning some things!"
I never really leave reviews but this was all too much and we will not be coming back here.

Fast speedy high quality haircut. What a fantastic job they did making my little guys hair cut easier. Like most kids he hates going to get his hair cut but they did a great job making him enjoy himself. The environment alone brings joy. Toys, characters, tvs everywhere. All kinds of stuff a toddler would love!! Very happy and definitely recommend. Pricing isn’t bad either!!!

2/2023: Very friendly hair salon for children!
3/2024: I made an appointment for my daughter with Nila due to the rave reviews about her. I ended up getting Leny. This was an error that I only realized hours later after getting a review request via text after the appointment, but this misunderstanding ended up being serendipity, since Leny did an amazing job cutting my daughter's hair! I definitely recommend Leny.

My daughters had their haircut at Snip-Its and they did a great job! Nila was very sweet and put my daughter at ease for her first haircut. We had a great experience!
