One of the best supermarkets around. The store is well laid out. The meat and produce are always fresh. The employees are friendly and they have fairly reasonable prices.

This is a well thought out store of booze to offer to its clientele. One of the most impressive well priced selection of Italian wines (US priced)I have seen outside Italy. You don’t have to buy an expensive bottle of Italian wine for it to be good, you just have to know what you are looking for. The chooser of these wines knew what to look for.
Good selection of beers as well, was really impressed to find such a good selection of wines and beer at a grocery store.

To us , this is the best shoprite. The selections are better than the other 2 local shoprites, at least for what we purchase weekly. The staff is always courteous and helpful. The store is clean , the bathrooms are clean too , unlike several local ( not shoprite stores ) who shall remain nameless.

Most ShopRite Liquors have fair prices. This location has many items way more expensive than MSRP. Go elsewhere and support small businesses with better pricing

It is big, it has parking you can only stay for a maximum of 2 hours, it has access to wheelchairs, it is easy to get to, you find discounts, a variety of foods, you find many products of different nationalities, it has bathrooms, but the weekends are dirty, it is 24 hours open,

Was just racially profiled by the manager around 9pm. Literally followed me and waited as I made my decision, (which was quite a while as I made a phone call to help me decide) and then followed me to the register. I will never be back.

I happened to be in the area the other day and had the pleasure of stopping at the Rockaway Shoprite! The floating floor in the produce department was a fabulous experience! The cleanliness of the store was impeccable and the employees were pleasant and helpful. No lines, cashier made eye contact and bagged my order! I cannot remember the last time I had such a pleasurable shopping experience in a Shoprite! I wish the Inserea Shoprite's would visit and learn how to run a store in a proper manor! I only wish I lived closer so I could enjoy it more! Keep up the great work!

I was not a fan of this store until the recent remodeling. Now, it's my go-to food store for most everything we need. First, the layout is logical. The produce and deli departments greet you as you enter. My wife likes organic veggies and their selection is good and clearly marked. The deli has fast, friendly service with good specials ... read the signs on the back wall to save. The grocery aisles are clearly marked with large signs along the rear of the store with the meat department across the back. Simple? I especially like their dairy department. I worked in the Fort Lee shop-rite when I was in high school and college ... aisle 9, the dairy dept ... so I know how important it is to rotate the stock and keep the freshest milk and other dairy products in front of the customers. Sadly, really nice stores that I shop a lot, like Wegmans, seem to have an issue with keeping the milk properly rotated. Inexcusable! Do, this is a very well run store with friendly staff (love the cashiers) and fair prices. I even like the parking lot with lots of places to put my car outside the carriage-ding zone. Cool. Good selection, fair prices, very good dairy team, friendly staff, lots of open cashiers at busy times. Winner!
