Olag Rivkin CEO, Kerri, intake, Jennifer Snide CNO, and our dear cousin and friend Rabbi Joel Fried, Chaplain, for easing the transition from the start and throughout.
We are super grateful to all physicians at the facility especially Dr Alberaqdar Medical Director, whose leadership, expertise and advice was invaluable. Dr Hashem, for tirelessly offering professional and compassionate care all along.
Notable shout-out to the extra-ordinary Nursing Staff including RN's, CNA's respiratory (Timmy & crew) PT's - Wound care etc. Together you create an environment of caring sensitivity, with respect for the patient and consideration for the family.

I first toured Select Specialty when we were considering a long term acute care setting for my husband to be weaned off of the ventilator before continuing onto inpatient physical therapy. When I first arrived, I was admittedly taken aback as the facility was dated compared to the Helena Theurer Pavilion at Hackensack University Medical Center where he spent many months. Do NOT let the age of this hospital fool you! My husband stayed for six weeks and battled double pneumonia during his stay. Select treated it immediately and aggressively. Within four weeks of his pneumonia treatment, he was successfully weaned off the ventilator. This hospital is so on top of hygiene standards and the daily, thorough cleaning of each room is very impressive. There are exceptional standout staff members… I won’t mention by name as I may unintentionally leave some out (they know who they are!). When we left Select to venture off to the next chapter of my husband’s healing, we both had tears… happy ones for his progress but sad to leave the “friends” we both made at Select. 10 out of 10!

They were able to remove the trach and peg tube in a good efficient manner. They were transparent and cared. The nursing team, aides, therapists and all the staff were always on point. They identified problems fast and acted promptly. Overall 10/10 care

A terrible place to send your loved ones, beware they are running this facility as a money making enterprise and the only thing they care is money very poor housekeeping and low grade unqualified staff for the patients they admit.

From the moment my Dad arrived at Select Hospital, he was treated with the most kind and compassionate care. From the doctors to the nurses and the nurse assistants, everyone was very friendly and professional when they interacted with us as well. My dad came to Select in a very serious condition and even had some health complications while he was there, but Dr. Arora and Dr. Hashem did not give up on my Dad, and they were able to get him well so that he would be able to go to another facility for rehabilitation. My family and I will be forever grateful to everyone at Select, but I want to give a shout-out to Dr. Arora for being so humble and listened to me, nurses (Dina, Juhee, Noel, Entela, Jonas, Alex, Terri) CNAs (Karina, Kimberly, Ivonne) PT (Jessica, Hamsa thank you for shaving my Dad ?) Dialysis Nurse (Noriel for his kindness and compassion while Dilysing my Dad) Thank you all and may God bless you for everything you do. ❤️?

I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone. The care my mom received from the staff was excellent. Maha was absolutely amazing in her communications with me and went out of her way to help with whatever I needed.

Do not go there!!! My ex husband was there for 20 days and we had to transfer back to the hospital. There is no communication, no one tells you anything. They don’t know what they are doing. Doctors don’t return calls. Some nurse’s are rude, patient call the nurse and they don't show up after an hour. Terrible

From the minute we walked in, we were treated like family. My husband is handled with respect and dignity. The doctors, nursing staff, therapists and administration are thorough and excellent. I could not ask for better communication between the portal with the updates of the current tests results, to phone calls with any urgent information that needs to be communicated. I can not imagine my husband getting better care anywhere else.

Wonderful team of doctors and nurses. They are very organized, communicate well to each other and to patients family; and unlike other places - all requests are answered in a timely fashion. The team truly cares about the patients wellbeing. We’ve had such great experiences with all their staff.Special thank you to the select speciality team for taking good care of our mother!

we as a family are son grateful for welcoming us with open arms starting with Maha Asfour who gave us a tour of the facilities from that moment we felt the love that they were going to give us and then with the nurse and nursing assistants and doctor and with each employee feels the love there is and the most important thing is that one can go home to rest and know that our family member will be in good hans my hisband's recovery has been so quicker than expected thanks to each one for they do their work with a lot of love

There are only two words for this place.....The Best.They are a specialty hospital in every sense...the overall level of care and compassion of the staff, the knowledge level of every professional, and the success of the positive result that they consistently achieve. I know this first hand as a former patient who was discharged from an ICU to Select Specialty Hospital on the brink of death and left as a whole person once again. I cannot say enough good things about Select. Most highly regarded and recommended always.

Shout out to all the dedicated staff at Select Specialty that cared for Dad. Each week I visited made me feel like I was in Heaven…after all, the Doctors, Nurses, Respiratory, and Teletech staff are ANGELS!Oleg, Chaplain Fried, Debbie, Linda, Dr. Aroura, Dr. Hashem, Jackie Beck, Anthony, Deepa, Yolanta, Terri, Sam, Intella, Marat, Marie D., Katy, Sheba, Samantha, Christian, Delicious, Valentina, Aruba, Sjmandeep.Thanks for respecting our religious-based preferences.

My husband arrived at Select Specialty in Rochelle Park NJ in June 2023 in very bad condition. He was on a ventilator, trach, feeding tube, very agitated and in and out of consciousness. He also has Parkinson’s disease. After months of dedicated care by the wonderful and compassionate team of doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, aides and PT staff along with social worker and patient advocate, my husband was able to leave select specialty to a rehab facility without any mechanical devices. He only uses a Bipap at night. A special shoutout to Dr Aurora, Dr Hasham and Dr Scander for working hard to get my husbands medication correct so he can recover. If I could give a higher rating than 5 I would. This is an excellent LTAC facility for your loved one when needed.
