Don't believe what any of the Home Depot Installation sales reps tell you about their windows/doors "Double Lifetime Warranty." It's simply not true. Labor is not covered beyond 1 year! Look at their contract verbiage below. When I inquired about the discrepancy, this was my reply: "My understanding is the line references our lowest warranty that was available on an American Craftsman window which is 1 year and the others would in essence be an upgrade to it. I can assure you having been with Home Depot in the window installations business for over 8 years now they consistently favor on the side of taking care of the customer including any service concerns and issues." It's b******* because the salespeople will be long gone by the time you file a claim. It's what's in the contract that you sign that matters in the eyes of the law; not a marketing brochure or said in an email. Plygem/Simonton's customer service rep, Mikka, told me that they get lots of complaints from unhappy customers when Home Depot does not honor the warranty. Moreover, they told me HD's (underpaid) subcontractor installers make a lot of mistakes. All confirmed by Simonton's supervisor, Lori Hendershot. The 6500 series window itself is warranted for 20 years and prorated afterwards. This is taken from their contract. Workmanship is only for 1 year! 7. WARRANTY AND LIMITATION ON WARRANTIES: (a) Warranty: Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement, Home Depot warrants for 1 year from the completion date that all Services shall (i) be performed with good workmanship and (ii) conform to the requirements of the Agreement. During the warranty period and within a reasonable time after receiving notice from You of a warranty claim, Home Depot may, at its sole option (i) correct or replace each Defect, or (ii) remove each Defect and refund the full purchase price thereof to You; provided, however, that all warranties are voided if (1) anyone other than Home Depot or Service Provider performs work upon or otherwise modifies any materials or Services provided under this Agreement, or (2) You fail to pay Home Depot as provided in this Agreement. (b) Limitation on Warranties: THE WARRANTIES PROVIDED IN THIS AGREEMENT ARE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE FOREGOING EXPRESS WARRANTIES CONTAINED IN PARAGRAPH 7A, IN THE WARRANTY SECTION OF THE AGREEMENT, IF ANY, OR IN THE STATE SUPPLEMENT, IF ANY. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT NO OTHER WARRANTIES ARE MADE OR GIVEN BY HOME DEPOT OR SERVICE PROVIDER, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY FOR FITNESS OF PURPOSE, WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR ANY OTHER ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. HOME DEPOT'S EXPRESS WARRANTIES ARE VOIDED FOR ANY DEFECT CAUSED BY ABUSE, MISUSE, NEGLECT, ACTS OF GOD, LACK OF PRESCRIBED OR STANDARD MAINTENANCE, OR IMPROPER CARE/CLEANING. ANY MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTIES PROVIDED FOR GOODS, MATERIALS, OR EQUIPMENT WILL BE PASSED THROUGH BY HOME DEPOT TO YOU, AND YOU AGREE TO LOOK SOLELY TO SUCH MANUFACTURER FOR REMEDY OF ANY DEFECT IN SUCH GOODS, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT. HOME DEPOT MAY ASSIST YOU WITH WARRANTY CLAIMS AGAINST MANUFACTURERS.

So unprofessional and chaotic. I ordered 7 items for curbside pick up. Got the email it was ready, went the next day to pick up the order and had to wait 40 minutes for them to tell me to come inside to collect some items because their curbside pickup wasn’t working ?! What does that mean?! and then have to wait for someone to load 4 stepping stones and no one comes out after awhile so I have to run back in and grab someone with a smock and load my items. They had no idea where anything was for orders. Very disappointed and waste of my time. Will not be using this service again!

I guess this store is getting ready to close. Why else would there be no staff in windows and doors. You have to call a phone number. Then when you check out, only self-checkout was open except for Pro. Oh, and there was the rude, nasty young man directing people to the checkouts. There were 10 people waiting to checkout outside. Oh, and this was a Saturday. Awful. You clearly don’t want my business!

Ordered cabinets for rental unit. Dealt with Jane Eyre Machado , she was fantastic. Spent time designing and pricing cabinets. Her knowledge was deep and vast about designing and finding the proper kitchen cabinets. Recommend that you see Jane when you need to order cabinets.

If I could give it a lower starthan one I definitely would... I have to be very careful because of the yelp people they get very upset whenever I leave a review whether be good bad or ugly... Conscientious object or's I guess? At any rate... Doesn't matter whenever I go in there I get asked at the end of my experience did we have everything you needed today? Answer no and then I have go to either a different retailer or a different Home Depot that is actually in stock... I don't understand what the issue is you hire people you pay them they fill the shelves with goods Covid is no longer an excuse I'm sorry but it's been over a year... Figure it out... This is why when people say support your local lumberyard or hardware store it is very important to do so... Why do you ask because major corporations like Home Depot try to run the little guys out I am a major advocate for support your local guy mom and pop keep it simple... Things that are as common as screws they are not consistent... The inconsistency of the buying and the stocking of the shelves is ridiculous... I really hope I did not offend any of the Yelp people so they pull my review yet again

This store is extremely short staffed. Nobody answers the phone. I ordered online yesterday morning for store pick-up and was assured it would be ready the same day. I called the morning after at 10am and was assured it would be expedited to be ready in "a couple of hours." 6 hrs later and a lady told me no one had pulled the 4 items I ordered out. If I'd have known, I would have just gone to the store to get the items myself instead of waste 2 days. I finally talked to the manager Bill who was very nice and had the order ready in 10min. Unfortunately, I went to the store and was told they can't bring it out curbside because they have no staff. Waited another 20min on the pickup line.

ANSWER YOUR PHONES!!! Customer service hangs up on me. The main number for the Riverdale store never anwers. I bought an appliance from you. It's broke. The waranty runs out in 2 weeks. If Home Depot won't talk to me, they better extend my waranty until they do.

Went there to pick up some deck sealer. It showed they had 5 gallon containers in stock. The gentleman in the paint department was too lazy to get it off of the top shelf for me so now I have to go to a different Home Depot. Thank you for being so lazy and the great customer service you guys gave me today.

I was putting the finishing touches on a flip property in Ogden and needed some help with a couple plumbing needs. Dave R. from plumbing was very knowledgeable and helpful. Easily saved me $200-$400 for a plumbing call. Thanks, Dave R.

Placed my online order for pick up at 12 on a Monday, called the store around 5 (because I know they close early atm) to see if my order was ready yet. The lady on the phone told me they were running behind and it wouldn't be ready until tomorrow (with everything going on I understand, although they could've called to warn me it wouldn't be ready today, since it is SAME DAY PICK UP). I tried calling the store 6 TIMES Tuesday morning to let them know I would be having someone else pick up my order (since it wasn't done yesterday I was unable to pick it up). I sat on the phone listening to it ring for 10+ more EVERY TIME. ( that's one whole hour out of my day just trying to speak with an employee!) NEVER GOT INTOUCH WITH ANYONE! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

went the other day to look for a specific item which could have been located in few different locations of store. Either way asked the first employee I saw happened to only be his 3rd day on and he went above and beyond to try and help me find this item. Even though we couldnt locate it not even with help from other employees Mike alone made an impression on the type of people Home Depot hires. Fantastic Job =]
