I've had to move in and out of here on behalf of others. They ALWAYS have problems with the elevator. Double booked the first time. Not set to individual control the second time. It makes an easy job 2-3 times harder

These apartments are gorgeous. There's indoor & outdoor parking. Great neighbors, several pools, jacuzzi. There's a mail room, an office with great staff. Also, the included amenities are A-1 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We lived there from Jan 2019 - April 2022. It's a dog compound that tolerates humans.Underutilized exercise facilities out of use for over 1 year due to sprinkler system issue, but rental office & community lounge update also closed entire building months prior. During covid, residents had to request filter changes for HVAC system. & extra lighting for hallways and stairwells.Maintenance team excellent with pets & quick response when needed.Finally: fees for any actual or perceived infraction $100+ & full carpet replacement to the tune of $1200, after living there 3 years with service dog (s), any carpet would need to be replaced for a next tenant who may be allergic to dogs.I had the apartment professionally cleaned prior to moving out. I feel the charge for rug replacement of the entire apartment was totally unwarranted.Overall, nice building, great people working there; horrible corporate policies regarding fees, fines & noise rules.One final warning: be careful of the mailroom.Have important items delivered somewhere else. I had cases of specialty dog food stolen x 2, & fed ex deliveries taken from mailroom. FYI we lived in the 4000 building, facing Riverdale Rd. Do not face Riverdale Rd. You will hear trucks, racing cars, motorcycles, everything & landscaping! Had our rent not been raised so high, we might still be there, faults & all.

Wish I listened to the reviews of this place before moving in. As many are saying, STAY AWAY!! Management is absolutely horrendous and beyond rude.. they don’t want to give you the time of day, let alone help with anything. Seriously, it’s not worth it!!

We lived at The Reserve for several years and overall, had a wonderful experience there. The residence itself - including the apartment, the facilities as well as the ongoing maintenance - was truly excellent. Moreover, management truly works hard to make the experience of all of the residents there comfortable, enjoyable, safe and respectful.Prior to moving in we looked at several comparable settings in the area and none of them offered the location or the amenities as The Reserve. After living there (we recently bought a house which was the only reason we left), we can also add that our experience with management was very good. Laurie and her team - especially given the unforeseen and drastic impact of Covid - were nothing but professional, responsive and collaborative. I don't mean to negate the experiences of others who post here as their perspectives and their experiences are theirs; however, in the spirit of fairness I think an honest review of people who had a truly wonderful experience is needed in an effort to present a balanced perspective of life at The Reserve. And it should be noted that their are many of our friends and neighbors at The Reserve who feel the exact same way - they love living there.Any communal residence is going to present unique challenges. As it is with anything in life, its not IF those challenges are going to arise but rather, HOW they are handled when brought to the attention of those in charge. When we had small things that arose, Laurie and her staff were NOTHING but responsive, reasonable, timely and professional. They listened to our issues and always tried their best to find resolution that was acceptable to us. I know from living in other locations and from hearing the experiences of family and friends in comparable environments that the same cant always be said. Laurie and her team always did their best to make our living experience excellent.I would highly recommend The Reserve to people who want a friendly, beautiful, respectful, well maintained and well managed residence. We really had a terrific experience there and were proud to call it our home.Thank you for reading and I wish you the best on your search for a new home.

My wife and I decided to move to New Jersey from NYC due to the pandemic. No need to commute anymore for work; both working from home. So we decided to look in a less congested part of New Jersey. We came across The Reserve online. Their site has very appealing photos, they are not too far from the city and yet far enough. We tried over 20 times to call and no one ever seems to answer. Finally I got a hold of someone name Lori. Oh boy, I thought New Yorkers were rude. She was extremely rude, unhelpful and very angry. All we were interested in was making an appointment to visit the site. Complete turnoff. If the staff is like this, I can only imagine the property.

Stay away from this complex. Management, maintenance and staff are so rude. The amenities are dirty or not accessible. Building is next to a mulch yard and the buildings constantly smell of manure.

THEY DONT ANSWER THEIR PHONES AND SEND YOU Right TO VOICEMAIL , and also they rude , and don’t call you back when they answer .
