So, I needed to have this golf glove tailored for a friend who has a partially amputated pinky. Other tailors wouldn't touch it. Well Riverdale did, and as you can see it came out fantastic!!! Thank you, it was a great retirement gift.

I also had a horrible experience getting a bridesmaid dress tailored before a wedding. The primary tailor seemed really friendly and knowledgeable but that's where the positive ended. When I first walked in, she has a yappy little dog that is nonstop barking. She was handling a customer that was unhappy with the results, and while I was trying on the dress to be altered, I overheard her saying it seemed like the shirt was cut shorter than she had and she never requested it. At first thought, it sounded like maybe the customer was wrong. After my experience, I now believe the customer. So, she looks at my dress, we agree it looks just fine but there's extra material in the back that would look better if taken in. Several more customers come in looking to get alterations ASAP. I needed this bridesmaid dress for my cousin's wedding the next weekend, and the tailor was going on vacation in the middle of the following week. She was taking orders like crazy, planning to work nonstop until vacation. I was concerned that she would be rushing the job especially because she didn't have time for me to come back for a final fitting. She was confident in her abilities. This was an Azazie dress that was supposed to be custom sized but they made a mistake twice and offered reimbursement up to $50 (I think). The tailor gave me a discounted deal so I wasn't paying too much more, that was nice. However I asked for it to be steamed as well and that for some reason cost $25 and it barely looked any different when I could have done this for free. Anyway, I finally go pickup the dress, she is already away, her poor daughter is stuck dealing with customer pickups and complaints. I try on the dress, it fits but the back was HORRENDOUSLY sewn back together. It was lopsided!! I was SO embarrassed to wear this to the wedding. Thank God from the front, nothing was touched and still looked beautiful but this was so unprofessionally done and you could tell she rushed. When the daughter called the dad, the co-owner of the shop and the steamer, he said the same thing to me as the gentleman's review below when I said I should get my money back for how terribly the job was done. He also said "ok take us to small court claim". How f'n unprofessional. I should not have to pay for someone else's mistakes and poor time management. If she wasn't able to handle my dress and all other orders she kept taking on, she could have said no, I would have gone elsewhere, case solved. In the picture, you can see how it bunches up weird, and the beautiful chiffon outer layer no longer flows seamlessly from the butt down, it went inwards, almost looks like pants. If you zoom in, you can see that the zipper and middle portion are not aligned correctly. This was the worst alteration I have ever seen. And reading the man's comments below now validates, this is not a good business. Go elsewhere where they are honest whether they can accept your order and handle it with care.

She is excellent at tailoring clothes. I have scoliosis so my dresses pants etc all are uneven. She always fixes it to the point no one can notice!I would recommend her to anyone for a reliable cleaners as well as for her tailoring. She also always double checks with dates when knowing an item is for an occasion to make sure she gets it in with enough time.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE DO NOT GO HERE , THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THREATEN YOU TO GO TO COURT WHEN YOU ASK FOR REFUND. I got clothes tailored and when I told the boss that it did not come out right he told me to go sue in court. When I told him this is scamming the customer as I am not getting what they layed out and he agreed that it is a scam , he said "Yes we scam, your not getting your money back" and laughed along. This is why they ONLY accept cash. Refusing to answer calls as well. please all of wayne save your money and clothes and do not go here and report this place as neccesary.

They did a lovely job! I’m 8 months pregnant and had to get a bridesmaid dress fitted, and since I bought 2 sizes up, it fit super weird in a whole bunch of places. She did a very nice job tailoring it exactly to my body. I would definitely recommend!
