“This is a great addition to Bergen County. The staff were awesome, friendly and most importantly knowledgeable. The lounge area is warm inviting and comfortable. They have an offering of signature cocktails, I went with a classic old fashion. They nailed it. We ordered the hummus and a flat bread with porcini mushrooms and onion. If you are reading this you are interested in this place I can tell you it is worth it. Enjoy”
“I was biking past one day and from the exterior I thought it was a dive bar and wasn't until I got home I looked up and saw it was a pizza spot. Went back for lunch that weekend and ordered the pizza and cocktail from the specials menu. Pizza was ricotta, mozzarella, sausage, and hot honey sauce. Cocktail was tequila, st germaine, lime, basil simple syrup. Both were delicious! A week later I came back for dinner on a weeknight. Just grabbed the wrecking ball pizza (pepperoni etc) and a hazy IPA they had on draft. There's a pretty good selection of beers on tap, and looks like when it start to warm up they have some tables outdoors as well. Both times I went my myself so I just sat at the bar. Service was fast and friendly. Love this spot!”

And in case they don't know English, that girl must be the owner and if not, it should be because she knows a lot and serves very well. Between a purchase of $5 I came out with a receipt for $120, the girl knows about liquor.”

In addition to the beverages, I was pleasantly surprised to find a variety of delicious food and snacks perfect for pairing with the drinks. The store also carries other necessary items, making it a one-stop shop for all your entertaining needs. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful, making my shopping experience even more enjoyable. “Buy right Liquors on Main Street in Lodi the staff is fantastic. Extremely helpful every one of them are polite and respectful. You can always find what you're looking for at this store. I would say if you've never been there you need to stop in and check it out it's very clean and the shelves are fully stocked. And they're going to be open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. They are going to close early on Christmas Day but I'm not sure what time.”

“I don't often review liquor stores...but when I do Englewood Wine Merchants is top of my list! I stumbled on this establishment while working locally for a few days. The location is iconic. Upon stepping inside the striking redbrick corner building, it oozes confidence with a finely curated selection of wines & liquors from around the world. Despite the seasonal chaos of a Santa-sized delivery schedule, the sheer number of holidays orders being prepped to make 1000s happy this Christmas is a testament that Englewood Wine Merchants is a cherished curator of cheer. I was looking for a Basque wine, Txakolina, difficult to find among the usual pinots, chardonnays & sauv blancs in a typical store. Neil was familiar with & sourced a case in jig time, making sure I knew how to pour it correctly (from a great height a la the northern Spanish territory from which it hails!). But what I loved more than anything was his effervescent character that outshone the gentle natural fizz this wine possesses. Despite living in Brooklyn I would happily make the 1+ hour trek to New Jersey just for a short conversation...and to pick up a few bottles of course! Don't pass it by!”

“This place is one of the busiest stores on the weekends and hot nights. Everyone wants beer after 10pm. And they are open late. Last week they had 8 people in the store and 8 people waiting to get in. And that was at 1am. The cops had to direct traffic because of people double parking. Busiest little liquor store around.”

From old world, new world, to champagne and beer, cognac and whiskey and others, there's no way you can leave here empty-handed.Truthfully, the store runs through a gamut of prices to fit any budget. More importantly, on two different occassions, the staff is on point on providing excellent customer service. That makes me a fan! At wine ventures, there's a special bottle waiting for you.
