The people at CvS pharmacy are polite and always helpful. But I absolutely DESPISE the fact that I can’t get in touch with anyone over the phone ever. CVS just launched a new feature after 25 prompts on the phone asking to speak to someone and instead of talking to a live person, you get sent to the voicemail where they can listen to what you have to say and then get back to you later. If you are not driving in person then you can never talk to a human being. CVS is awful and continues to go downhill. I’m moving to Walgreens.

Overall, CVS has become an incredible disappointment.
Desired stock is often paltry or not at all available, even when the particular website reflects desired items are in stock.
As a result, travel time and energy expended is a complete waste!
Prices labeled on shelves are often not the price reflected at check out.
The Self Check Out stations are always FILTHY!!!! ? ?
The Check Out machines are always malfunctioning which then always requires an employee to remedy it.
Self Check Out is suppose to be designed to provide a quick check out process rather than waiting on line.
This is not ever the case.
Overall, the employees are nice when actually engaging them but seldom is assistance readily off

The pharmacist on duty tonight in River Edge, May 8th, had the most incredibly disgusting demeanor. She was curt and impatient. I hope to never have an interaction with her again. You have a job…good one. Put a smile on your face!

A complete disaster! The maintenance is poor! The crew does not want to help and does not like to do so. CVS look for your employees. They can bring the whole business down because lazy employees looking at their phones...etc.
Dirty place.

The store was great at one time but has gone downhill in recent years. The stocking is slow and inefficient, the staff aren't that friendly as they used to be when the first opened and the pharmacy is understaffed. I used to enjoy going to the store but it is not as fun as it used to be 10 years ago.

I had a bad experience with this River edge store. First, I tried to schedule a Covid shot with CVS APP, it showed it experienced issue and it couldn’t schedule it. Then I had to call service center to schedule it, they offered me a scheduled appointment at this location, when I showed up, they informed me I was not on schedule, then I asked if I can do it now, they refused it. They claimed they could run out of stock of vaccines and I asked for an appointment next morning. The pharmacist told me he scheduled for me next morning at 10:15 . When I got home I checked if I got any notification or not, as I suspected the pharmacist tried to screw me. As it turned out my schedule never shows up from my CVS APP or any communication. This River Edge location has bad service, hence it is not recommended and you should avoid it. Try other locations or move to a different pharmacy if you can. I will move to COSTCO since I am a member of Costco already.

Go elsewhere, came in on Saturday at 1 PM to pickup 2 prescriptions for my son, they were done on Sunday 10:15 AM. Worst experience ever! They just simply don’t care anymore

I went in to get a item I discovered that I was charged twice for an transaction that at first was declined but I still being charged for it and second ever since I had to switch to CVS for my prescriptions it has been a total nightmare

The manager watching the phone all the time. I know he plays stock. He check the stock all the time and typing message. It’s very bad. He may make mistake.
