Overall I am 100% dissatisfied with Dollar Tree corporation as a whole. Just so everyone else is aware, Dollar Tree will only exchange items; unopened with original receipts. No returns whatsoever. Yet, there are rules. If you wish to exchange your items, you must exchange them for something else in the store on the same day. Or within 30 days of the original purchase of the items you want to take back. Because they will NOT administer a gift card, I find this very shady business. Especially since nowhere inside their stores does it state this policy. This policy is only displayed on their receipt AFTER YOU ALREADY PURCHASED something!Also, to add to this issue, inform the manager at the Rio Grande, NJ store; that I wasn’t aware of this, I didn’t see any signage. Also, when I was purchasing the 20 different baskets to see which would fit best in my laundry room to organize cleaning products on the shelves, the cashier even mentioned, “Wow, you sure have ALOT of baskets.” then I replied to her - “I’m looking for the right baskets to fit on my shelves in my laundry room, so I figured I’d buy all the ones I’d like to try and return the ones that don’t fit. I’m sure you’ll see me again this week.”I’m an Interior Designer, and this is how I save time to see what works in the space and what doesn’t. It boggles my mind, but she wouldn’t have mentioned this policy when we had this conversation. I said this to the Rio Grande manager, and she informed me that the Cashiers are not required to mention any of the exchange policies for Dollar Tree to customers during transactions… WHAT?!?If that’s not a shady business, I don’t know what is.

I've been to Dollar Tree stores in 23 states and this is my first in New Jersey yelp.com/collection/W6g6…. This one is OK. There is some trash on the floor but there aren't boxes of merchandise waiting to be put away. When I dropped by on this Sunday afternoon, there was no line and a friendly young woman rang up my sale.It has the usual Dollar Tree sections including candy, greeting cards (some are TWO for a dollar!), kitchenware, books, personal care, toys, school supplies, party supplies, and even some food and drink. Not everything is a dollar any more (thanks, inflation!) but they do a good job of pointing out prices.[Review 18237 overall - 113 in New Jersey - 1759 of 2022.]

By far The Best Dollar Tree we've visited in at least 5 states. The store is clean, organized, and the employees are very helpful and kind. This store is a Joy to shop in. Thank you!
