So this Stop and Shop is shutting its doors in 2024.
The Health Dept. should have done it sooner with some of the smells STILL emanating from the former Grand Union here.
And while it is open still - at the time of this posting, Ringwood Borough will soon have no supermarket any more.
Azarian Group is thrilled to continue the decades of blight with this supermarket 'anchor store' closing in this decrepit 'shopping plaza' that should embarrass the property owners, the community, and the Ringwood politicians who allow Azarian to continue making the community an eyesore with this dump. It's a dump. And everybody knows it - which is why the community shops in surrounding communities and the majority of the storefronts are EMPTY. VIDEO MD? Really?

Help Desk is a disaster with some guy with glasses on the weekend saturdays. Western Union and other services never works. Everything is broken with him allllll the time. Get a new employee already. Everybody else has to deal with his lies and everybody else there does their job except this unbathed individual. Just do your job and stop lying to customers all the time. Quit if you don't want to help!

The market was well stocked, fresh vegetables, in general there was everything needed for everyday life.

On March 18, 2024, I bought a precooked chicken (breaded 8 piece). We started to eat it for dinner, I discovered it was pink in middle. I returned it to the store, almost gagging. I brought it back to the customer service. No apology was given, but they returned the money. Extremely dissatisfied that they would sell uncooked chicken. Do not buy chicken in the store especially if you plan on it for dinner. Unfortunately, I am a regular customer and will now never buy precooked chicken products. I would have not posted any star but I had to give one for review.

Basically good and convenient store in Ringwood. I do wish the vegetables and fruit were fresher, and that there were more cashiers/ checkouts better staffed.

In the last 3 weeks, old stale tomatoes. Rotten shallots, today it's old nasty foxy Romaine lettuce, I bought it because the iceberg lettuce clearly was rotten. Half the time the strawberries are moldy inside the pack. It's exhausting. Quit buying any meat there at all years ago. That pre packed mystery meat,( beef?) has zero flavor. All the pork is Chinese owned companies. I don't want to drop $4.00 on gas to return this stuff every time I go. The other stores,(Inserra), are great but for a bag of lettuce for tonight's tacos really should not force me to drive well into another town. Might as well, whoever is in there shaking the place up you need to look around and pretend you need to bring this stuff home to you and your kids. You don't need to respond. I'm a Ringwood resident for 65 years. Maybe if you bring the residents that worked there 6 months ago someone might care.

It's small, and it's a store for reject managers. I'm not saying they all are, but some of the staff messed up at another local stop and shop and they'll get sent here

This branch is not stocked as well as other stop and shops. The meat dept is non existent and most organic vegetables are rotting. They just never seem to have what you are looking for. There are a lot of empty shelves; it's basically a convenience store-good for milk,bread. It is not the store you want to go to if you need to food shop for the week.

Nice little grocery store. I prefer it to larger stores in the area I used to pan it, but it has improved over time.
