My husband and I decided to celebrate our belated Valentine's Day at Old York Cellars, and it turned out to be a delightful experience from start to finish.Atmosphere & Service: From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted warmly by the staff. The indoor ambiance was inviting, and we indulged in a flight of wines accompanied by a scrumptious lunch. The paella I had was bursting with flavor, while my husband thoroughly enjoyed his chicken sandwich.Outdoor Experience: Despite the snow on the ground, our transition to the private outside cabana was seamless. Snuggling up by the fire, we felt cozy and relaxed. The staff ensured we were comfortable, providing excellent service even in the chilly weather.Wine & Food Pairings: The second flight of wines, paired with charcuterie and locally made chocolates, was a highlight of our day. Each wine complemented the flavors perfectly, and the addition of savory charcuterie and decadent chocolates elevated the experience. The patatas bravas that followed were a delicious surprise, adding a delightful twist to our tasting journey.Overall Impression: Our Sunday Funday at Old York Cellars was a memorable one. The combination of exceptional wines, delectable food offerings, and attentive service made it a perfect outing. Despite the winter chill, we were warmed by the hospitality and charm of this winery. We look forward to returning for another delightful experience in the future. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a cozy and enjoyable wine tasting adventure.

Amazing experience:) sommelier helped us with the six 1oz sampling of their wines and each one had its own unique flavor and nose. All good wines

Old York Cellars is a staple. I love coming here during the summer/fall. The ambience is beautiful and I love meeting with friends for a relaxed day here. We did a wine tasting where we got to try many of drinks, and then moved over to the restaurant where we listened to some live music and ordered a cheeseboard with some drinks. The location is beautiful with ample seating. Love this place and highly recommend you check it out. I am looking forward to going back again!

Great food & wine pairings. The atmosphere is fun. We sat outside & the setting was tranquil. The staff were very attentive.

I enjoyed their seasonal tasting and the beautiful scenery. The service was slow. Our reservation was for 2pm and Michael took our order at 245pm. Michael did his best with the large number of tables he served. No waters, no silverware or napkins with tapas. I read about Chef Jose on their website but disappointed with quality of tapas. Not enough staff on site to serve number of visitors.

I went with a large group of friends and we had a good time. Our servers were knowledgeable about the wine which made for a fun experience. However, when we arrived we were originally seated in an indoor section. We were later informed that there is covered outdoor seating with heaters and live music. When my group transferred over to the outdoor seating, we noticed the musicians packing up. When we asked to confirm that the music would continue, we were told that they would start again at 3:30, about 30 minutes after we were seated...but there was no more live music for the rest of the night; just the radio. It also started off warm but as the weather got colder and the rain worsened, the seating situation became uncomfortable, especially on the plastic benches we were sitting on. The food was okay overall. We were given plastic utensils and paper plates to start but when our entrees came out we were given real silverware. The non alcoholic drink sizes are small but there was self-service water available. Most of our food came out warm, not hot, and the seasoning was a bit lacking overall, esp on the steak. But the portion sizes are nice and prices are reasonable ... the beef empanadas were also surprisingly very good!TLDR: The wine was the highlight of the experience. ?

These reviews sure do lead a person in to make the choice to come here. I came here for my friend's birthday and she explained this to be a great winery with a good view and better food, and was so excited. Wow were we astonished by the way this place is ran. One thing is for sure, it is a good view and that's about all they have going for them. I ordered a bottle of wine and it took an hour to get it to the table. Mind you, we only had a two hour reservation slot and halfway through is when we finally got our wine. Actually ridiculous if you ask me, I thought the place was dry and they just didn't know how to tell their customers! I don't think I have waited that long for wine, at a winery even... THE THREE COURSE MEAL IS NOT ORDERABLE FOR RESERVATIONS ON WEEKENDS, although this is not marked anywhere so when you go to order and decide what you want then they will tell you "you can't order that" since apparently it takes over 2 1/2 hours to make and you only get a two hour reservation. Very deceiving and a bad first look. I feel bad my friend looked into so many places and picked this one for her birthday.

I will say if it weren't for my server who tried so hard, I would have left 30 minutes into my reservation due to this poorly ran winery. Keep in mind you only have a two hour time limit reservation that costs $15, and it took OVER 45 minutes to get the glass of wine I ordered!!! ONE HOUR into my timed reservation I finally got a glass of wine and ODDLY enough the bottle ordered for the table took even longer! I have NEVER waited that long for a glass of wine in my life, let alone at a winery EVER! Then the three course meal I literally to this place to try, was unavailable due to the fact it will "TAKE LONGER than my reservation has to MAKE THE MEAL" So why offer a freaking three course meal if you can't even order it????? I did ask if the reservation time is from when you get your glass of wine and it is not, just from the time you sit down. So beware it could take up to an hour to get your first glass and you can not order real food only Tapas. As this should be written in large bold letters on the menu to not deceive people like me who drove 2 hours to get here. I personally would never come back to a place like this due to the sad way this establishment is ran. My birthday dinner was a complete embarrassment and disappointment even after RESEARCHING place after place and landing here thinking this would be the one, so very upsetting.. BUT I personally would rate my waitress 5 stars ONLY because she worked so hard at making sure things went decently smooth in a place that was such a clear mess, as well as all the tips and tricks she had up her sleeve to make a bad time somewhat enjoyable.

Karen, head of marketing at old York is the absolute best! We come here often not only because of the great wine and food but because of her hospitality along with the entire staff. It’s nice to still know we have good people in the world that care about their patrons!

Beautiful setting with outdoor seating for reservations and picnic tables for larger parties. Cabanas available with heaters/fire pits.Variety of tasting flights and wide variety of food items.Tried the weekend wine pairing and the soup was delicious but the steak was tough. Would have given 5 stars otherwise and female wait staff could be more courteous.

It's been awhile since we visited and I now remember what a great place this is. I ordered the "popular" (can't remember the exact name) tasting and I liked every wine I tasted. Served in plastic cups BUT they will give you a glass if you ask. We also ordered a glass of Malbec and a meatball and chicken sandwich - both delish! Friendly service, wonderful patrons, stellar views and great food and wine. And the pups loved it as well!

Fun and classy experience. Wines were great, had the malbec, cabernet reds and the chardonnay white. The food overall was nice too and had a good variety in terms of cheeses, cold cuts, barbecue, desserts, not sure if this is made in house or was catered from elsewhere though as we attended a party.

What an amazing vineyard!! Beautiful views to compliment great wine and exceptional food. The cab and the malbec were our favorites, but everything we tasted was excellent!! You could taste the care given to each wine by the maker, and I look forward to trying the ones we missed. While the wine could stand on its own, it was perfectly complimented with an outstanding offering of food. We enjoyed the Sunday specials, first with the brunch tapas pairing and followed that up with the spanish bbq. Every bite was better than the previous. The tortilla Española is a must!! The staff was very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful with recommendations to match each palate. Will definitely be back soon!

Lovely view and wine tasting was fun. It is a nice place for outdoor party. However I was disappointed on their food. It feels like microwaved food and was served extremely slow.
