They are so wonderful, so accommodating and truly lovely people. We called up last minute to see if we can come to look for my mom’s Mother of the Bride Dress, they took us in no problem. My fiancé is in the military and is scheduled for deployment so we had to plan our wedding in a very short time frame. They were so understanding and helped my Mom find the most perfect dress. We are so grateful!

I wanted to let Shelly Glam know how much I appreciated her greed in welcoming her customers. Following an online search, my daughter made an appointment, Shelly, her sister, and her daughter welcomed us. Compared to the boutique down the block, where these individuals looked down on us, Shelly's place had a distinct vibe. We had never been to Shelly Glam boutique before, Shelly and her team helped my daughter choose the perfect prom dress. Shelly treats her clients with care and respect. I will definitely go back to the boutique because I had a great time there. Shelly Glam and her team are really kind and they have a smiley face when someone is trying on clothes, therefore I highly recommend her. Thank you so much

Shelly Glam? More like Shelly SCAM.
On April 29th, My wife came to this place for a 25th Anniversary dress. She fell in love with one she tried on. The owner, Shelly, knew my wife fell in love with it. Shelly said she would order the dress to be shipped to her shop, and it would arrive within 3 weeks. She was very quick to charge my credit card. I even explained to my wife that the whole process felt rushed right after we left there. We paid $890 for the dress, and then there was a 4% credit card fee and tax. Total was $925.51.
My wife texted Shelly on May 13th to ask if the dress had arrived. Shelly responded and said yes, it was there, and to get it fitted on Wednesday, May 15th. My wife was very excited to go and try on her new dress. Upon arrival at the shop and trying on the dress, my wife noticed it was THE SAME DRESS she had tried on April 29th. All along, the staff acted as if the dress was brand new and that it had arrived as they had stated. My wife was very disappointed and upset. She had a staff member, her daughter, call Shelly to let her know the dress was NOT NEW. Shelley and her staff insisted the dress was new until they admitted it wasn’t; they admitted it was the same dress she had tried on. They put it in a plastic bag and didn’t even bother to clean the stains and fix the ripped string to tie the back of the dress. These were there before my wife tried on the dress for the first time. They said the dress was “one of a kind.” The dress being one of a kind has nothing to do with the fact that they never gave my wife the option of what to do when they found out it was out of stock.
They tried to blame my wife for the stains, and then they admitted their hands might have been dirty when they touched it. They kept making excuses and saying she did not do refunds. She then stated that she would do a refund but would have to charge shipping fees, restocking fees, etc, which is 213.51 in fees. How are you charging these fees when THE DRESS NEVER LEFT YOUR SHOP, and we did not receive a new dress, which is what we paid for? She admitted that they told her it was not in stock when she called to order the dress. She never contacted my wife to inform her or give her other options. Instead, she pretended as if the dress was shipped new. We feel SCAMMED; there is no other way to put it. Avoid this place.

Your response below is also a lie. There is no way that dress was brand new and there is no way my wife would cause "wear and tear" to a dress for trying it on for a few minutes. You are constantly lying and you just proved my point.

I recently visited this store in search of a dress for a Cambridge May Ball and was delighted to leave with a stunning, sophisticated evening gown in under an hour. The experience was absolutely wonderful, with a surprisingly extensive selection to choose from in the boutique. Overall, a wonderful experience with the lovely women running the store. Highly recommend for any formal occasion.

Thank you so much Shelly! I called last minute to see if she could help me with gem straps on my dress to fit better on my chest,(which is always a huge insecurity for me) and she did! She even complimented me which made me feel so amazing. For something that was stressing me out was so quick, easy and effortless for her! She was so kind and so welcoming. I will for sure be coming back and I highly recommend Shelly! She didn’t even charge me, which shows how much she truly cares! Thank you so so much again I truly appreciate it so much.

Service was very rude. I requested to try on a dress and they said i needed an appointment, however a white woman walked in after me without an appointment asked the same thing i did and allowed her to try on the dress. As a customer, i felt very disrespected. Please work on how you treat your clientele..

Best place to find your next event dress, came here to search for a dress for a gala , it was so easy finding a dress. I though the search would take a lot longer than just one visit to the first dress store I found in my area. I picked out this beautiful jade dress , corset top with little details on the top ,, she even helped find me jewelery I can wear from pictures I showed her from home . Shelly was very helpful, and I'll definitely be shopping again for my next event. I hope every dress experience is this easy

Totally disappointed. Just be aware of being ripped off and also told something looks so good on you when it absolutely doesn’t. They’re just trying to make sales and get rid of you.

Shame on you Shelly. Avoid this place at all costs!!!! I made a mistake of zelleing $600 for a dress I was being rushed to get and walked out empty handed and she refuses to give me my money back. I don’t understand how $600 is worth your reputation. Very money hungry. Doesn’t care about her customers satisfaction. Bring your money elsewhere. I’m truly disappointed and never been treated this way by anyone. Her arguments being made about this is all lies. I’m truly at a loss for words…

0 starts for this place. They should be ashamed of themselves how poorly they treat their customers. She was extremely rude. Shelly does NOT care about her customers and rushes you to desperately make a sale. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I’d stay far away. Ridiculous.

Shelly, what an Amazing experience Prom dress shopping you gave my daughter. “I was so very pleased with the whole experience” The one on one you gave her. The honesty and knowledgeable on what went well with her and what would pair well with the dress” This was the first boutique we went into prom shopping and after three dresses she knew “She found the one”. That amazing big smile on her face was everything to me. Thank you so very much! If you want to look and feel glamorous bougie and have all eyes on you when you walk into the event you are attending go see Shelly Glam you will not regret it.
