I got catering and the food was fantastic! The brisket was juicy and delicious and so was the pulled chicken. The bbq sauce on the side was awesome. The sides were great…Mac and cheese, caprese pasta salad, artichoke salad, and cole slaw. The salads were fresh and really good. All the guests kept saying how great the food was!

Amazing food and service. Everything on the menu is delicious.Pitmaster & Smokehouse are my Personal favorite's.Saturday & Sunday they serve breakfast sandwiches which are a 10/10 as well.If you want amazing food, come here.

I stopped in today. Got 2 of the pulled pork sandwich’sThey are very good with a lot of taste and freshness. The sourdough bread complimented and absorbed the juices.The wife and I were going to split one and save the other for lunch tomorrow, I can tell you this we each ate a whole sandwich. There was no way we were going to wait till Tomorrow. The Owner was very friendly. Do yourself a favor stop in and you will be very Happy

Came in on a Sunday 4 minutes before they closed to get two sandwiches and they happily made our sandwiches.My husband's only complaint was we didn't get three! Hands down the BEST Pulled Pork Sandwich I've ever had. You will not regret it!

The place is freakin' awesome. Pitmaster, Whole Smoked Chicken, Chicken Wings, and Artichoke Salad. All just awesome. Just met the people there, so nice, a beautiful family-owned business. Oh and Peter K. with the negative review - you sound like a j*** without tastebuds. The bread is as fresh as it gets and they didn't ask me for a tip and I tipped them anyway. Maybe you're just cheap and mean, what kind of a bad person would rip a great neighborhood family-owned business?

Limited selection, severely overpriced is what this specialty deli has to offer. I never write reviews but I had to as this seems like the biggest rip off. For the prices being charged you woujld expect fresh still warm bread, what we got was stale. You would expect the sandwich to be overflowing with ingridients and flavor. What we got was a fine sandwich. Super dissappointed, I really thought this would be my new go to spot. A friend of mine also visited and as they also act as a small butcher shop she bought some meat (not sure what exactly she bought), here is the kicker, when checking out they actually asked for a tip. A tip for wrapping up meat? They also sell salt, wonder if they asked to be tipped on that also. Just Crazy. Stay clear of this scam.

Recently opened and still stocking their lovely new store on the East Side of Red Bank, Salt & Smoke promises to be pretty special. I've heard their sandwiches are excellent. Yesterday I tried the smoked brisket, which was superb. Looking forward to the ribs and whatever else they come up with. Friendly folks, nice outdoor and indoor spaces, support your neighborhood food vendor!

I tried Salt & Smoke market and ordered their signature brisket sandwich and a chopped Italian salad to split with my wife. Everything was delicious! The store is simply laid out and friendly owner. Welcome to the neighborhood! Only problem for me... the prices are really high! $39.99 for a sandwich and a salad!! Will be tough to go back for an everyday lunch place! But I will save for a special occasion. Oh well.

I had the pleasure of trying the newest addition to our neighborhood today! Firstly, the shop looks beautiful, very clean and streamlined decor. I was given a friendly greeting by both the counter person and the cook. They have a variety of butchered meats as well as cooked meats, chicken and salads. They also carry some specialty items: spice mixes, olive oils, etc. I ordered chicken wings and the artichoke salad. I'm so glad I did! Definitely try Salt and Smoke!
