Poor Cat is one of my favorite shops in Red Bank. The customer service is second to none. I showed up near closing this weekend, and both Bella and Alyssa stayed to help re-string all my charm bracelets and necklaces. They assured me I should take my time, and if anything did not feel comfortable, they would re-do it. The selection of charms is incredible and makes picking just one almost impossible. The clothing is the best cotton you can buy. Not to mention the bowl of chocolate kisses that I welcome every time I show up. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. I will be back!

Absolutely ? for the poor cat. The staff was extremely professional with an added unbelievable sense of caring. They listened to what the personality of my girlfriend and what I was kinda looking for and found me the perfect fit for her. They also do personalized gifts and can design you anything you want. They have this great program that they use that uses coordinates of a special place and they can do the engraving picture so it is will represent the place you want it to. Great idea for you guys or gals out there that are thinking of a gift for your special someone, like where you first meet or went on your first date. You can engrave it in a beautiful piece of jewelry that will last forever just like the memories you have. Again thank you to everyone at the poor cat all of you are out of this world. Definitely will be back

Wish I could give 10 stars! In my opinion, Poor Cat is the gold standard for any small business. I’ve been collecting charms and pearls for my bracelet for four years now and live in California, but make special trips to Red Bank when visiting New York for the delightful experience of shopping, selecting, styling advice and custom re-fitting of my leather bracelet each time I add something new. The ladies there treat you like a treasured friend and I enjoy my visits to the store as much as their beautiful jewelry. On one occasion I shipped my bracelet back to have a charm added and the turnaround time was super-fast (even over a long holiday weekend). The Poor Cat social media accounts always keep we wanting more! You won’t be disappointed here - they will make sure of it!

Hours of operation are a little frustrating. They're never open past 5:00. When I inquired they said they will have extended hours starting around thanksgiving... but that only means they're opening a little bit earlier, not staying open later.

I am extremely disappointed in Poor Cat. I had an 18k rose gold charm with full diamonds on a rose gold ball chain. The ball chain has broken multiple times (it falls apart with the smallest touch) and I have gone to jewelers on multiple occasions to fix it. The chain alone is extremely expensive and most definitely should not break. I feel asleep and the chain broke and the evil eye charm fell of. I have lost the charm because the chain is made poorly. For the price of both the charm and the chain this should never have happened. I am extremely upset with the quality of the item.
