This should be labeled a "Motel", ie a crack motel. The staff was rude and unkept. The room was filthy and the worst I've ever seen. Whatever you do, don't stay here. It appears that they have section 8 housing also. HUGE mistake booking here!!!! Never again.Rooms: Disgusting! Enormous cobwebs, holes in the walls.Safety: Not safe, crackheads and burglars everywhere!

I can't give a proper review because I wasn't able to check in even though I had a prepaid reservation; to be fair, my company pays for my rooms and sometimes glitches do occur, If you have a physical credit or debit card you'll most likely not suffer like I did. I had a virtual card (all relevant numbers) from my company on my phone, but I was told they couldn't enter the numbers manually; I ultimately spent approximately an hour working with the front desk clerk, the manager, and my company's travel agency with zero luck. I've never had issues like this checking into ANY Extended Stay America over eight years, and I'm not sure what the problem was here but it was incredibly frustrating after working and spending hours on the road; the travel agency gave up on it and booked me at the Hawthorne in Tinton Falls (cheaper and they have free breakfast, better for me AND my company... LOL), and I'm sure this place will be added to my company's "No Book" list so I shouldn't have to bother with this place again.

The hotel room we were in needs a few cosmetic improvements to be perfect. This was our second stay and we really have no complaints.Very clean.

I needed a few days in town for an unexpected family loss so I didn't have time to look and should have read more reviews...The staff is lovely. Very kind, polite, and professional. The building looks kept up from the outside, the parking lot is very small!! We ended up on the opposite side of where our room was located with our bags in tow, which gave me a chance to see the surplus of dust and dirt in the hall and corners at the elevator. The room itself was large but... Not what I expected. There were stains on one of the bed spreads, the mattresses are hard as rocks, hair dye stains on the floor and in the bathroom. The paint was rubbed off the bathroom door by the knob. It smelled stale and there was dust everywhere. We had to move furniture to plug the lamps in so we could see. The tub drained very slowly. The towel bar was crooked and loose. There's a kitchenette with microwave, stove, fridge, and sink, but it's empty of all the necessities. You have to call for them, and I wasn't ready to find out what convenience fee that was going to cost me. You get slow internet, unless you pay to upgrade (which includes streaming). We found an empty dusty shoe box under a bed while looking for a sock...If you're in a pinch, it'll do. But I won't be staying here again

I was charged an additional $35 "early check-in" fee when I arrived. I was NOT told about this fee when I made the reservation...and I would like this charge to be refunded. I also still have not received a copy of my final bill via email, which the desk clerk informed me that I would.Additional info: I live 10 minutes away from this hotel. The ONLY reason that I made a reservation is because I was having an Estate Sale being conducted in my house, and I have a small dog. I checked in to your hotel at 9 AM, and checked out at 3:30 PM. My cost for the six and a half hours, to rent a small one-bedroom studio was $178.81 (which also included a $25 fee for for my dog, which should also be refunded since there was nothing to clean), which is outrageous!!!Further, I will be having another 4 or 5 sales at my house in the upcoming weeks. All of those sales will be 2-day sales...which means that I will need a hotel room for 2 days instead of one. I will be looking elsewhere for accommodations!!!!!

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD!!! There were BEDBUGS in the bed!!!! It was so gross. I ended up sleeping on the chair in the room, and couldn’t get any sleep. When I called the front desk, the man told me they were booked and I was out of luck. The lady and the desk the next morning was even worse. Extremely rude employees and now I’m hoping that I didn’t bring bedbugs home!!! The room was dirty, the floors were gross and the bathroom had bugs.

Bookers beware! The photos they show are NOT what the rooms look like at all. Our room was FILTHY. TV didn’t work, and when we checked out our clothing smelled of cigarettes BAD! The entire hotel is run down and dirty as well. I’m not even kidding. I’m not a picky person but this was the worst place I’ve ever stayed at.Rooms: Filthy

It’s one of the worst hotels that I stayed in a while! Don’t stay here. Rooms smell. Kitchen in room has no supplies. The breakfast is not really breakfast, it’s snacks. Very disappointing. I’ll not stay here again.

Non smoking rooms stunk of smoke. Called the front desk and they apologized, no other king suites available. We paid almost 900. for 2 nights, 2 rooms, one king suite with a pull out and one double. The pull out was a joke, no way could a person sleep on it, not even a dog. Although the room may have been cleaned, don't look in the corners, especially in the bathrooms. Bathrooms are outdated, old and not in good condition. All of the beds haven't been updated/replaced in many years and were all very uncomfortable, to the point of almost not able to fall asleep. The full kitchen has nothing in it, not a coffee maker or even a cup. Outdated as well. The stove tops were rusty and not sure if they worked as we didn't touch them. And they provide breakfast, if you prefer a granola bar.We couldn't find reviews and booked online anyway. We're leaving this review on yelp in hopes you'll see it and book elsewhere. We did get 100 off the double room that was originally 220 a night, total 340 for 2 nights. Still, not even worth 50. Seriously this was the worst hotel we've ever stayed in and we travel a lot.

Stayed here on a trip to New York City. The location is decent and price isn’t terrible, especially since we had our dog with us and needed a pet friendly hotel. The staff was friendly but my main concern was that the floor of the room and under the bed blankets was something like sand. Had to wipe it out of the bed but it was all over the floor. I’m concerned the floor wasn’t cleaned and wondering how it got in the bed sheets if they are cleaned between people. Also the shower was either freezing cold or scalding hot and there was not much to do to get it in between.

BEWARE. Whatever you do, don't stay here unless you love filth! Remnants of feces in the toilet, stains on sheets and towels and God only knows what was on the headboard! Completely stained rug, we had to change rooms twice and the second one wasn't any better! Ended up going to another hotel after one night. For your health and safety, go somewhere else!!

They are vacuuming the lobby right outside of my room at 1:30 in the morning.Edit- it's actually the laundry machines. They're super loud. I understand the laundry needs to be done, but they should not book out room 125 if they're going to be doing the laundry.

I’m from FL but I travel for work. Since I came to Jersey I’ve been staying at this location and I’ve stayed there for about four months. I can honestly say out of all the places I’ve been and stayed this one is by far the best. Linda(head of the crew), Alex, Jackie and the rest of the crew is what team work look like; professionalism, above and beyond, great communication, friendliness, caring and all in one making sure your experience there is comfortable and relaxing. Linda is such an amazing person every time I saw her she always put a smile on my face and Jackie have one of the most brightest smiles at the front desk waiting on you lol. Also housekeeping does an amazing job shout out to you guys and I hope Linda sees the hard work you guys do. Overall it an amazing place to stay because the staff there will make you feel like you’re at home.
