Being profiled at a Dollar Tree was an unsettling experience. As I browsed the aisles, searching for everyday essentials, I noticed sidelong glances from store employees. Their suspicion seemed to grow as I moved through the store with my 3 friends all of use caucasian white males and relatively young, then an uneasy feeling settling in. It became apparent that are presence was viewed through a lens of suspicion, perhaps due to my attire or appearance differing from the usual clientele. The tension was palpable, making me acutely aware of being perceived as an outsider. Despite feeling unfairly judged, I tried to completed my shopping and left, reflecting on the discomfort of being profiled based on superficial assumptions.

This place kicked me and my friends out because they profiled us as kids that were roughhousing in the store the previous night. They accused us of horsing around and the owner was very disrespectful. Me and my friends were about to check out but then the owner walked over and accused us of playing around and not gonna buy anything. So in conclusion this store is really bad. And the owner is very disrespectful towards kids. I have been going there since the store opened and never got kicked out, but this owner was accusing us of kids who were in there the previous night horsing around. But the owner was very disrespectful to me and my friends. This store is garbage.

I was getting a can of soda from the in-store fridge when two packs of gum that had been placed there on the top of the fridge near the hinge BY SOMEONE ELSE started to fall and I poked them back up. I was shocked when a rude woman I am guessing is the store manager came up behind me and grabbed them and said to me "If you don't want them don't put them there, give them to the cashier." As her and her greying ponytail walked away, I said that they were there already and that I also worked retail and wouldn't do that. She was too busy having an attitude and being rude to even acknowledge that I was speaking to her. No one knows how busy this time of year is than someone who works behind a counter checking people out, as I do. I also know how difficult it is not to be rude to people when you are tired and stressed, but I keep any comments I may have in check, unlike this woman. I was disappointed in the way that she not only treated me, but refused to acknowledge that she made a mistake in accusing me of leaving something randomly behind.

I love this Dollar Tree. I get toys for the children at my dental office. A lot of variety and store is clean.
