We have used Blue Star Carting for the past 5 years and they are horrible. They alwayalways have some excuse as to why they didn’t pickup your garbage weekly. When you are paying for a weekly service they should fulfill that service and they don’t. Just this week they didn’t pickup again and when I called to inquire, their driver had a personal issue. It is terrible that their service hinges on the personal lives of their staff. This was the last straw for us and are currently looking into switching companies. Completely ridiculous to have to miss customers paid for services.

Worst customer service ever! My garbage was not pickup up for two weeks. I Called Blue star carting, the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude, cut me and wouldn't let me finish my words.

Customer service is inept. I called a year ago to begin service and never received an invoice. I reached out to pay my bill and cancel; they had no record of my weekly pick up and tried to raise my rate from the price initially quoted. Would not recommend and if you do use them, get everything in writing. Don’t do it over the phone.

I've been using Blue Star since 2013 an rarely had issues up until about a couple of years ago. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt, because I know the pandemic caused some staffing issues and because their prices are reasonable. I wouldn't mind so much if there was communication, but it's nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone. I pay for 1x week pick up, but some weeks they don't come and if I manage to get anyone on the phone, they act surprised about it. Most recently, I sent in a check for the Q3 invoice and they never cashed it, then sent me a bill for it again with a late fee tacked on. I call the office and nobody picks up, nor do they return my messages. I used to recommend them, but I'm about to cancel service and switch, because the lack of communication and poor customer service has become a huge problem.

No-Star carting should be the name. Choose anyone other than Blue Star Carting. They didn’t pick up for weeks so smelly trash was piling up in the garage. Then they wanted to charge us to pick up our bin after we switched so we dropped it off at their place and emailed them a picture. Now they are still trying to bill us for service they didn’t perform.

I have never experienced a business owner that could be so RUDE & actually look for customers to write bad reviews. Jeannette could not be more unprofessional! How about starting to communicate with your customers, Jeanette, speak to your customers with a timeline about work orders, and work on friendly customer service? As for services, well good luck getting consistency. Cannot even count how many times I have paid for pick ups that never happened. So happy with Republic Services now :)!!!!!

Im not even a customer, and will never be, but the little interaction I needed to have was probably the worst of the worst. I am surprised they are still in business. The lady who picked up the phone… there are no words to describe how unprofessionalis.

We never know when our garbage would be picked up—if at all. Missed weeks. Failed to show up Monday and Thursday, then drive by on Saturday (when teach can is no longer at the curb). Months of poor service. Can’t get their billing in order. Cancelling their service.

Have been with Blue Star Carting for over 30 years. Unfortunately, they have not been providing the service that we are paying for. In the past, Blue Star was reliable. Now, maybe they pick up once a week. Last week, they did not pick up at all. No communication indicating if there is a problem. Not acceptable. Not sure, maybe they changed their name to Blue Star not carting anymore.Going to begin looking into other carting services. Appreciate knowing if others feel the same way or if others have recommendations on replacing Blue Star.

Had been with Blue Star for many years. Service in general was "OK", meaning they came 2x a week as scheduled, but would miss a pickup day more often over the past year or two. Finally in June they just stopped coming for over 2 weeks, despite calls, emails pleading for pickup. I finally switched over to Grand. If Blue Star was having staffing or mechanical issues, I would almost be ok if they communicated that to customers and asked for patience. But there was no communication/outreach/PR whatsoever, just no service.Service: Trash removal & disposal

I’m paying for 2x weekly pickup and rarely get even 1x weekly pickup on time. But if I am one day late in many years of paying on time they are quick to add a late fee. Whatever…how about I start deducting payment for all the weeks you have not picked up twice weekly on time? Time for me to dump this trash collector. I moved it to a house in skillman, nj recently. I asked them to continue their services from previous owner, which was twice a week. It has been 2.5 weeks and they have only picked up garbage once today. I asked them to cancel my services and now they ask me to sent a letter and would charge for picking up the can. The garbage can was left over from my previous owner and they want to charge me for it to be picked up as I am canceling their service due to their poor attitude.Please do not hire their services.Service: House & garage cleanouts

After being assured my trash would absolutely be collected on Tuesday, our regular pick up day anyway. So it wasn't like she was doing me any favors by Jeanette by finally after almost three weeks of NOT picking up for three weeks that we had already paid for! Then, Jeanette actually called me and left an inappropriate message stating they won't be servicing us and took away our trash. So, I guess we won't be subjected to their poor service and dealing with an incompetent business owner who knows nothing about owning their business. This was not the first time we have had issues with Jeanette. She was rude to my husband during the summer when the same issue occurred. Also if you check their reviews on every other platform you can see either Jeanette is super sweet or vicious. We now use republic.
