the worst of the worst. when they go down, they go down and stay down. i was down for a week, they kept forgetting to show up to fix my cable. finally some guy comes out to replace my modem, but he refuses to replace it. gets fired on the spot and i still have no internet. i had to go pick up a box and install it myself. i could of done that to begin with. i cannot wait for planet network to make it in my area, you suck optimum

They won't sell a phone unless is financed. What a rip off! They won't solve a problem on your phone, instead they send you home and call Optimum. Why are they open anyway? Just to do what they feel like doing. I would give them 0 stars if I could!

Absolute WORST customer service. Reuben took advantage of my elderly uncle. Charging him for 4 boxes instead of 2 along with forcing him to get fios (most likely to receive his commission) when he lives in a co-axel area that doesn’t need to be upgraded to fios. Told us they would leave the internet connected until the install appointment. Ended up turning it off in the middle of the night 2 times in the span of 4 days. The 2nd time they turned it off they refused to turn back on until the tech came out. We spent over 12 hrs on the phone just to get hung up on by multiple “supervisors”. The lack of respect from these people is mind blowing.

The most unreliable service I have ever had the misfortune of having. Internet/cable is constantly going down. In fact it is down AGAIN as I write. They convinced me that I needed to upgrade to 300 mps fiber because that would solve this issue. I did, it didn't. They really need to go belly up, no one would ever notice.

Called due to lost internet connection and needed help. On hold for over one and a half hours. No help, had to give up. Thanks for nothing, what kinda service do you have to give up on?

I HATE optimum. Have nothing good to say about them. Overcharge. Take advantage. But this place has very good customer service.

New customer. Installed fiber lines to house but they never activated. Told multiple times we would receive a phone call. Never did. It’s been 5 days. We’ve called every day. Will be canceling service.

Need a new DVR cable box. Gave me one but couldn't activate because their system was down. Would call me to let me know when he activated it after the system came back. Never called me. Went to another location with the box & they told me that box wouldn't work on our system.Optimum's call in service is absolutely the WORST. They never got done for me what was needed.

Absolutely worse service. You make an appointment weeks in advance and no one shows, so I call to see and optimum shows that the they changed the time themselves without notifying the customer. I wish I can provide them a zero star review. Also why do I need to call 3 times to get any information, so annoying and not user friendly. Those that read this do yourself the favor and go with Verizon if you can.

I requested a move for my service and these people disconnected me two weeks early. No notifications. No updates. Just disconnected service. Then I’m told I have to wait 4 days for a technician to come out and fix it.Update:Thanks for the copy and pasted response, David. I went to the FCC instead.

Poor telephone customer service. I have internet connection failing, rebooting sometimes 2-3 times per day. No one can fix the problem, technicians on scene do not seem knowledgeable, cannot answer questions, often speak broken English heavy acents.I have a service call in the next few days. If I cannot get connectivity problems resolved I am terminating service.
