I bought a new Lincoln Corvair for cash. I've been waiting for 2 months for my license plates my temporary tag has expired twice now and I still don't have my plates. They told me the plates were going out yesterday, but according to UPS, they haven't received anything from Performance Lincoln. Now I have a $54k car I can't drive. I wouldn't recommend this dealers to anyone looking at car!

The oil change was good, the diagnosis was a waste of time. Overpriced parts and labor.

It took their service group 3 weeks to repair my Transit wagon. And for over $2200, they couldn't dig my van out of the snow and ice where they parked it. My son had to dig it out. Pretty bad, you're better off going to Morristown Ford, but they're only a little better. I'll give them the 4 days for the holidays, but way too long, too expensive and no courtesy to dig the vehicle out of the snow

The dealership never made good on the issue, nor did they even offer/attempt to rectify our concern. They instead said basically "you signed the papers" after the paperwork was done. BBB complaint filed resulted in them giving a generic BS response, which they didn't even follow up on when it was rejected by us. I feel sorry for anyone else that falls victim to their bait and switch sales tactics that they pulled on us costing us thousands.

Had a 2011 Mustang GT brought in for a noise, was told it needed engine work for almost 6,000 dollars. I originally refused & considered to sell the car. Service Manager convinced me to fix it saying "its worth it since it's a nice car" went on vacation & when I came back, I picked up the car & the same noises occurred. Brought in & was told the car needed a new Engine, that it would cost 15,000 dollars to repair. Nothing was done to fix this issue, they only offered 500 dollars to buy the car. Had to sell the car to a different dealer for almost nothing.

Just renewed my second lease through Performance Ford. My opinions and review are unsolicited. Nothing but good things to say about my experience here. Jimmie the salesmen kept the whole process easy and had the opportunity to meet the general sales manager Jim and the VP Doug who were both very helpful and persistent in finding me the perfect F150 for my business and the best pricing offered in the area. I've sent a few of my clients there already in the past & I'll continue to refer others there. Do not let the few bad reviews posted deter you from allowing yourself a chance to experience what this facility has to offer. I stand behind my statements. Thank you PF for helping me into my F150.

I agree with most of the reviews that this place is shady to the core!! please go elsewhere, I'm still waiting for my reimbursement on a Tire and Wheel warranty that was cancelled over 3 months ago . I have been in contact with the dealership several times and still no check, I spoke with David M in finance a few times now and he's saying my check should be in next week!!! let's see if this gets resolved and I receive my money!!! I also never got a call back from the GM , which I left my name and number for couple times to address my concerns... Save yourself the aggravation and go elsewhere.

I went to see a vehicle that was listed online as inventory. "It was sold" "Picked up the day before". BS. It's still listed. I question if it ever really did exist. Watch out!!!!!! Tried to add a "Dealer, BS BS BS fee" of $799. Drive right by this dealer.

After 2 1/2 months total being at dealer 2 rebuilds and anew trans still not right! After new trans the next morning left lake of trans fluid all over my driveway . Also truck sat on their lot for over a month and instead of cutting the rotors like service manager said they tried to sell me $800 brake job that wasn't needed. But I did it myself for $600 less and all that was needed was the rotors to be cut like promised. I don't feel safe to have family in truck!!

This review is about the service department fraud and the service manager/greaseball Anthony who tried to pull a fast one ! I brought in 2019 Ford Explorer was told that the car needed a wiring harness due to rodent damage. When I went to the dealership to go over the car with him, he could not find any damage to the Wiring Harness from a rodent. He was so embarrassed at his carelessness that he almost swallowed his cigarette! He changed the terminology on the invoice to show a wire overlay and said he was able to discount it some .. of course it didn't need what he said it did after he actually took the time to look at it... ps he never discounted the bill . Not to mention the fact that the way he spliced the wire and preformed the "repair" is not a Ford approved repair method. Lastly, The car was already taken apart outside in the lot where Anthony and the service writer, Erica inspected it. I watched while all they did was add a jumper wire from the fuse box to the center of the dashboard that I took a picture of. This was certainly not $1985.00 worth of labor. I have filed a fraud claim with consumer affairs in Trenton after first leaving a message for dealership owner Kevin to discuss what is going on with his dealership. Unfortunately, Kevin never called me back so I felt I had no choice. Shame on them ! To add insult to injury they then were pushing to sell brakes, fuel system service and coolant flush .. In the end charged 4300.00.

I would give 0 stars if it was an option. I never had such a horrible experience with a business before. Set an appointment for 3 weeks out and dropped my vehicle off, I then get the vehicle back and my car has not actually been fixed. I tried to bring it back for them to fix it and they tell me I need to wait another 3 weeks for an appointment after I already paid. I said my car should have already been fixed and you need to drop everything and fix mine first since your mechanic clearly didn't do his job right the first time. They finally said bring it back in and it sat for almost three weeks and they didn't even look at it. I called 7 times and they would just leave the phone on hold and never come back when I asked about the status. On top of that my vehicle is. 4 cyl and they only changed 3 spark plugs when it had 4 spark plugs. Staff is unfriendly, workers are inadequate and incompetent, I could care less how busy you are. You take care of your projects you committed to fixing before moving on to other projects.

Low quality dealership sales process. .. #1 - Arrived to look at an F-150 that was clearly advertised as certified, for an asking price $40,900. After sitting down with the salesman, he indicated that the sales price was indeed 40,900, but if I "wanted it to be certified", it's an extra $1100.00. Also, this is in addition to their dealer fee of $750.00 plus tax, title, and tags. Essentially, they advertise the vehicle as certified, for a set price, then tell the customer if they want it certified it's more money. Typical DIRTY sales tactics. #2 - Be aware - they ask top dollar for the vehicles in their inventory and offer no flexibility on pricing, yet will only offer wholesale price for your trade-in (that means that they will offer lower than the lowest KBB "trade in value", even if your vehicle is in "excellent" condition). Fine example of a car dealership taking advantage of consumers in difficult market conditions.

STAY FAR AWAY. I had been told by a lot of different people that now is the time to trade in your car since they are worth so much more due to the lack of used vehicles on the lots. So I called Performance Ford, where I purchased my current Explorer back in 2019. I even dealt with the same salesperson, Matt. This is the stereotypical car dealer. From the shady advertising to the salesperson acting like he is your best friend when he doesn't even remember you "I really care about you and Robert (my husband goes by his middle name Mark), and I want you to get the best deal". On the phone he told me "used cars are worth more now, and you are a returning customer- we won't lose your sale over the trade in price". I was concerned about coming to the dealership until (a) I knew they had a car in stock that I liked, and (b) they would give me what was fair for my trade in. Eventually I went in (I live over a half hour away(. I test drove the car while Matt tried his best to schmooz me - he wasn't very good at it. Much too obvious. Anyway, while I test drove the car he said he would check out my car for the trade in. I did my test drive, and when driving back into the lot there was Matt, in my car, going through my glove box! Now what in Gods name does he need to see in my personal papers? And why didn't he ask before he did so? I didn't say anything at the time. I thought about it more after I left the dealership and that's when I was upset. So we sit at his desk after the test drive. He tells me they can give me $xxx for my trade. I wanted more so I declined. After some back and forth I left. Fast forward a few days. I get a phone call from Matt at about 9-10 in the morning. "It's the end of the month and we really want to sell the car today. What will it take to make a deal?" I said I needed more mileage on the lease. He said ok, and you still want to trade in? I said I did and that I would take the amount they previously offered me, which was just enough to pay off my loan. I would need to come up with $3000 down for the lease, so I told him I would call my husband to confirm we could swing it. I spent the next several hours speaking with my husband and other family members and mentally was ready to go get the car. My husband cancelled plans he had and I called Matt to tell him we were coming in to buy the car. He says he has to confirm everything with his manager and would call me back. A little while later he calls to tell me they don't want my trade. I was speechless. I was there at their dealership. They inspected my car. Matt helped himself to my glovebox. They made an offer, which I was now willing to accept, and now they don't want it??? No explanation, no apology. But Matt DID say "I hope we can help you in the future". Is he THAT delusional that he thinks for one second that I would EVER buy from Performance Ford again? I told him as much before I hung up on him. BUYER BEWARE
