John Herold Jewelers is an excellent jeweler that always has the satisfaction of its customers as a top priority. Their selection of rings, necklaces, watches, earrings and more is outstanding. John and his staff take the time to determine what a customer is looking to purchase, and then provide suggestions to help each customer make an informed and personal decision. I recommend John and his staff highly!

My fiancé worked with John Herald Jewelers on my beautiful engagement ring, pictured here. Since we’ve now set a wedding date, we’re starting to explore wedding bands, and our most recent experience at JH Jewelers was so fabulous, especially with Jessica behind the counter - she is always so wonderful. LOVE John Heralds! My husband and I got both my engagement ring, wedding ring, and his wedding ring there. We have been customers for over 10 years and have never had a bad experience. All of the employees are kind and have a special gift to make me feel so welcome every time. Quality jewelry combined with a competent and kind staff has made this our go-to jeweler for 10+ years.Thanks for being awesome John!

Got my wedding ring appraised there and they told me one price then when I came back a week later they told me $100 less not very good business.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My fiancé and I brought our rings to be resized for our wedding, and when we received them back they were done so poorly. You can see clearly where they were cut. It's as of they melted together the top and just didn't do the inside of the ring. My fiancés ring is a gold ring, which a resize should not even be visible. My ring is not as bad, but still is clear where it was resized and was not done well in my opinion. I contacted the store and expressed my dissatisfaction with the rings. I requested my money back, and they told me "we stand by our work, you can come back and we will fix it". I live 2 hours away and will not be coming back here. Why would I bring rings to be "fixed" when they were done incorrectly the first time? I don't trust them to fix anything, as it should have been done right, which is what we paid for. I went back and forth on the phone with the owner who ended the conversation with "I will not be giving your money back, have a nice life and a nice wedding". He also tried telling me that it cost as much as it did because my ring had to be sized down a size and a quarter. I bought it and it was a 6.5, he's trying to tell me it was a 7. It only got sized down .75 of a size. The whole conversation was him making excuses for the work they did and justifying the price, which was not cheap. He said he "must have missed doing the inside". How do you miss that? I would have gladly paid it if it was done right. He was rude and dismissive. Their paper bag we received our rings in says "Our highest priority is your satisfaction and confidence", but this clearly is not the case. Now, right before my wedding, I am out hundreds of dollars and I have to spend more to take these to someone who actually knows what they are doing. My advice is go elsewhere!

$170 to add less than 1/4 ounce of STERLING SILVER to 2 bracelets. A year ago they replaced a 16" chain on a necklace for $40. I am really disappointed in how they've raised their prices so drastically (and seemingly arbitrarily since an ounce of sterling silver is $12-20.) They didn't tell me prior to the work being done what the cost would be and since they were so reasonable in the past I didn't think I needed to ask. When I reached out to discuss why it wound up being so expensive for so little I never heard back from anyone.

I highly recommend John Herold Jewelers. Everyone there is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They offer their opinions without pressuring you into making a decision. They were able to make my engagement ring EXACTLY how I wanted it and it turned out beautiful and I'm so grateful for all of their assistance!
