This pharmacy endangered my life, avoid this pharmacy.Pharmacy used to be good, but it's the absolute worst now.The head pharmacist Marina, is very nice. But the other pharmacists are incompetent.Tuesday, January 16th, doctors office sends in the prescription. Prescription status shows filling on Walgreens website.Thursday, January 18th, 2 days later, doctors office is notified that the medication needs prior authorization. Prescription shows delayed on the website.Friday, January 19th, Medication is needed as directed by doctor to prevent hospitalization. The prescription vanished from the website. Not fill, not cancelled, not delayed. Just in history but only visible in the phone app.I attempted to call the pharmacy Friday to see what was happening. Was left on hold for an hour before being hung up on.I arrived at the pharmacy. The tech says that the cannot fill the medication because insurance has not approved it.Which is wrong. My doctor prescribed it, therefore they can fill it. If insurance does not approve, it just means I pay out of pocket.I ask again if they can fill and I self pay.The Tech insisted that they cannot fill it. Again stating they need insurance approval. I had to get the attention of the pharmacist, she corrected the tech that, of course, I can pay out of pocket.Tech then slowly meanders to the back. Come back a little later. The tech says: "We don't have it in stock. We can order it for Monday."I reply that, I need it tonight."We don't have it. There's nothing I can do"I ask if they could check other Walgreens if any have it in stock.Tech says "No. We can't, but I guess you can call them and check."Again, that's false, I know that they can check the system to see if other Walgreens might have it in stock. How do I know? Because all the other Walgreens I called did it for me over the phone.I called 5, FIVE, other Walgreens that the systems show they may have in stock. None, 0, no Walgreens has it in stock.I give up on Walgreens and call a CVS. Most didn't have it in stock but finally, one did, all the way down in New Milford. With the CVS pharmacist on the phone, I ask the Walgreens pharmacist if she can transfer the prescription. Walgreens pharmacist insists that the CVS call them, and that it would be impossible over my phone.I give the CVS pharmacist this Walgreens phone number, and leave. This was 6:50pm, an hour and 10 minutes before both pharmacies close at 8 pm.I arrived at the CVS at 7:30 and the entire timez the CVS pharmacist was on hold on the phone. This pharmacy, did not pickup the phone. The CVS pharmacy had 4 phone lines, each waiting on hold, trying to get the prescription. And I also called. We were on hold untill 8pm. And the phone lines shut down automatically. What was most frustrating, was that after the hold music, you heard a ring tone, then, you can hear the pharmacist pick up the phone, and immediately put it on hold again. For a whole hour.I had to call the front of the Walgreens. Literally, plead with the manager to go and speak with the pharmacist. All I needed was 30 seconds of the pharmacist's time to transfer the prescription. My doctor was very clear. Without the medication I would be hospitalized. And had a chance at death. I had mentioned this when I was at the Walgreens. Yet they were completely indifferent. The pharmacist told the manager that they didn't have the prescription. A lie. I plead again with the manager. As I can see not only the e-script from my doctor's office, but also the prescription in the Walgreens app. Finally, I get the pharmacist on the phone. The Walgreens pharmacist asked for the CVS fax number, but the CVS pharmacist saw through the trick. Both pharmacies were closed, no fax would go through. The CVS pharmacist forced the Walgreens pharmacist to do it over the phone. And it literally only took 30 seconds to transfer the prescription over the phone. The CVS pharmacist basically saved my life. The Walgreens pharmacist decided to risk my life for 30 seconds of her time.

Needed a photo printed ASAP. Ordered 4 wallet sized photos online from my phone via the Walgreens app & they were ready for in-store pickup in less than 30min. On a Sunday night, too! Dylan the cashier was helpful. Great experience.

I have been calling for two days, no one picks up the phone! Finally, someone answers, then puts me on hold.Waited, I timed it, 10 minutes,No one picked up the phone again. What in the hell is going on????!!I thought the Walgreens on Spruce St. was bad, but come on!!!Obviously, this place is going out of business, if not it shouldThis is all management's issue, if the GM can't run a business, she/he should find a new career

A bit slow but eventually provided all that had been pre-ordered! The waiting line area needs to be clearly identified.

If possible the customer service just keeps getting worse. Don't waste your time and go to a different location.

I had to move to Walgreens from CVS because of my health insurance. Everything at CVS was automatic but not at Walgreens. The doctor I was seeing moved out of state, so I continued with the new doctor who took over her patients. When I realized I ran out of blood pressure meds, I stopped at Walgreens and they told me they closed out the doctor's file, so this meant I had no blood pressure meds for several days until I could get the new doctor to approve them. It was busy so I didn't create a stink, but my husband told them to give me a few pills until Monday. Sadly they don't realize the importance of medications.

I have had a medication ordered for my dog for some time because it isn't carried by Walgreens and the vet wanted her to take the same manufacturer at all times because it is for behavior issues and it was important not to change manufacturers. This week the pharmacist said it couldn't be ordered from that manufacturer. I called two other Walgreens nearby and both said they could order it and one did and I've picked it up already. I've switched my pharmacy business to that store also and won't be using this store again. Apparently they didn't want to order it -- it was not because it couldn't.
