Billed me for something my insurance already covered, when called them during business hours to dispute the line hung up after leaving me on hold for 5-10 minutes twice, the third time it rang for a few minutes until inevitably going silent for over 10 minutes with no one on the line. Horrible company will do anything to overcharge you or inconvenience you.

Pathline has sent me phony bills many times. At first it was charges of $250. For a Covid shot that I never received, and now the **** doesnt say what its for.

I am a physician pathologist who spent years at this company where upper management consistently lacked transparency, respect for the laboratory staff at all levels (including physicians), and no prospects for advancement . The company was originally founded by pathologists; the main founder /ceo sold to a venture capitalist group and made a good amount of capital (and ran). Hence forth, the company was run by a person without any medical background, empathy or appreciation of laboratory management (said person merely has a bachelors in accounting coupled with suboptimal leadership skills and a superficial understanding of pathology). Physicians were merely regarded as another head behind the microscope to pad the bottom line; opinions were not heard; workload consistently and markedly increased due to multiple (4) physicians leaving in less than 6 months, (myself included) without compensation, appreciation or solutions to the problems at play . Morale continued to nosedive . The diagnostic quality of the work, is marginal at best. As cited on a previous review , a less than qualified physician was reading specimens incorrectly such that patient care could’ve been negatively affected if the patient had not asked for outside second opinion. It is unclear how many more diagnostic mistakes have been made since and/or to surface in the future.

I received a quick and accurate result from Pathline in regards to lab testing. I would recommend this pathology service company.

Love that when we call Client Services I get someone on the line immediately, and when we call for a pickup the courier is always very timely and friendly. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone.

I was unsure about why I was billed, called the company and they helped me understand my bill better. Still have to pay it, but the people were nice.

My biopsy results were read as normal from this lab. I then had the slides sent to a different facility and they read it as pre-cancer. I told my doctor who then had the slides sent to a third pathologist that agreed that it was read wrong by Pathline Emerge. I would recommend a second opinion before taking their results as the truth.
