I have used Model Electronics to modify my Jeep in the past and have loved their knowledge, service and fair pricing. So it was a no brainer to have them put Apple Car Play into my daughter’s 2018 Toyota Corolla. They gave me a good deal and did the work quickly with no trouble at all.
I would recommend them to anyone that wanted to do some work on their car

I just updated my 2024 4Runner’s audio with an amp and speakers. Andy worked with me to understand the sound I was looking for and he nailed it. The audio is crisp with a perfect bass. The work was clean and done as scheduled. Andy and team did a fantastic job and I highly recommend Model Electronics.

Great service and workmanship. Brian explained our new dashcam system for my wife's new car. We feel much better with one installed (everyone should have one).
If you want a nice clean install that look like it came from the factory, go to model electronics.

I picked up a low mileage 2004 Suburban with factory AM/FM cassette player and single CD.. Andy and his staff neatly removed it and perfectly installed an Alpine multimedia radio video receiver with back up camera wired to my reverse shifter, and cleverly mounted hands free microphone just inside my speedometer cluster. He also mounted USB port in one of the unneeded cigarette lighter openings in dash. . Really makes a difference's in an older vehicle. Highly recommend Model!

These guys do substandard work. I brought my new Tacoma in for soundproofing, heated seat install and a new set of speakers. I spent almost $3K, and here’s what I got…. When they reattached my seats after installing the soundproofing they bolted through the foam, gumming up the bolts and leaving the seats unattached in the rear. One of the speakers was defective - they simply didn’t test them. For the heated seats, the left and right switches were installed on the wrong sides of the vehicle, and another switch in the dash was put back upside down. The window switch in the rear driver side door was not reconnected after they took apart the door and put it back together. Finally they didn’t reconnect my shifter lights in the center console so at night I couldn’t see what position my shifter was in. I spent several hours fixing all these issues myself. I will not be recommending these guys to friends, or using them for anything in the future.

Had a new radio/ back up camera installed in my 2013 VW Beetle because the dealership could not do it. They recommended Model Electronics. Very easy process and super fast. Andy was very knowledgeable with every question I had and asked. They went over the whole radio system with me when they were finished. Everyone was extremely professional and nice and I would I highly recommend them to anyone that needs electronic needs for their car.
