Unkept promises,Poor Customer service.
Purchased a car from them, 1 hour drive from home. traded my old one. Salesperson forgot to include the plates for the old car I traded , but kindly offered to bring them to me Time passed, I made several unreturned calls, finally he said he didn’t have time that would let me know when the new plates arrived and would send them together.
.Didn’t notify me until 5 days before temporary license plate expired, called to say they had to charge me for shipping the new plates with the ones they forgot to return .

At Kia Liberty, The sales rep was great thank you Jay for helping me with picking my car. The only downside of this place that really S…. Is the way service handles us as clients. You take your car for service they take so long first of all and second of all my Son car has been having problems and all they can say we are waiting for parts for days now, my son has to keep calling them to see the outcome they don’t call you unless you scream at them and tell them how you feel. They also have a constant recall lights start showing up, my other son bought his car and in a matter of a month he had no horn. They are the worse we will be leaving Liberty Kia in Ramsey, Nj as soon as we are done with our lease. We don’t need to go through this headache and not being able to have a car because they have it in the shop, also they don’t even lend you a car when you have the car in service. It’s been two weeks with this going on. We are done!

With the exception of my sales person Steven Neff, these people are the WORST! If not for the fact that they had the car I wanted, and again, my sales person, I would have walked right out. Most of the people who work there should not be customer facing, especially Bernadette! I'm in sales as well and if I treated my customers the way I was treated, both during and after the sale, I'm not sure I'd still be employed. I've never understood why, on average, the car buying experience is so horrible. They must only like people who come in uninformed, only finance through them, and succumb to the ridiculous additional warranties and add ons sales pitch.

Jeremiah is the absolute best! I leased a new Sportage in January and have never been happier. I spent an entire year dealing with multiple sales people and dealerships- constantly getting the run around, over priced, horrible customer service and then I met Jeremiah! The process was absolutely seamless- I have never walked away from a dealership feeling so happy and satisfied with my experience and I absolutely love my car. My coworker and boyfriend also went to Jeremiah for their cars and they were so impressed with the service they received. We will be Kia Liberty and Jeremiah customers forever!!!

Absolute painless process dealing with the gentlemen here. I had to turn in a lease and my salesman Ian K. has got to be the best and easiest car salesman I have ever dealt with in my life along with the sales manager Dave. Then I have to give a special shout out to the business manager Jose who worked with me and my very limited budget. Ian and Jose worked some kind of magic. I met the guys in the service department who seem very easy to deal with when the time comes for service. It is a welcoming and non-pushy place. I highly recommend this dealership.

My daughter and I left the dealership feeling like good. The salesman, Dudley, was extremely professional and went beyond the call of duty to get us a fair deal. Jose, the finance guy was also helpful and got us out the door quickly.

We had a wonderful experience with Tony. We purchased the 2025 Kia K5 GT-Line AWD in black. We were in contact with Tony for a year via email and phone and he was always very respectful unlike other salesmen. The price was fair. Tony kept it very real with us (it’s one of his best qualities). He was very prompt with his response, even when he was on vacation he kept communication with us. We definitely recommend talking to him if you’re interested in purchasing a vehicle. We placed an order for the vehicle and picked it up once it was ready. The process took max one hour. Overall, I would say we are very happy with our purchase and experience at this dealership.

Me and my wife went car shopping extensively to find a new vehicle. Jay helped us and was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and workes hard to get us in a car that would fit out budget and needs. I would recomend famliy and friends directly to him in the future.

My wife and I recently leased a brand new Kia Telluride - and couldn’t be happier with the experience. We had the pleasure of working with Jeremiah (Jay) - and the process was simple, painless, smooth from start to finish. I hate “complicated”… and working with Jay was FAR from it…everything from our initial discussion on the vehicles we were interested in to the pricing tiers we could fit into our budget - he was super understanding and accommodating and it really felt as though he had our best interests in mind. This is our first Kia - but if the experience with Jay is any indication as to what the next 3years will be like - I can guarantee it won’t be our last. I’d be remiss to not mention Jose Castano from Finance - he priced out the lease multiple ways to get us the best price possible (even without us asking)….that’s above and beyond the call of duty, really appreciate that, and it saved us roughly $50/month. We are very grateful for Jose, Jay and Jeff (Manager) over at Kia in Ramsey…and we highly recommend paying them a visit, we were very glad we did.

Walk in and ask for Jay Velez... he made the impossible possible and set my mom up with a PHEV Sportage at an unbeatable rate where other dealerships couldn't come close. He was communicative, reliable and readily available during the entire process and made spending the money on a new vehicle fun. When my current lease is up, I'll be coming to Jay for a car myself. Highly recommend!

I initially lacked confidence when I visited Liberty Kia due to my limited knowledge about cars and the purchasing process. However, Dudley significantly contributed to my comfort throughout the entire process of purchasing a certified pre-owned Telluride.

Went there with my family. In the entire office no one was available to show the car and discuss the details. We were told to go outside and look the car by ourselves. After coming back to the office and asking for a key to open a vehicle, we were told to go somewhere because they discussed information which they didn’t want us to hear. I used to be at different dealerships and was always treated like a valuable customer. The way how they do it at Kia Ramsey is awful. Definitely not coming back.

I just bought my first car, a Certified Pre-Owned from Liberty Kia. My salesperson, Jeremiah Velez, was so great! He was very patient, understanding and helpful! My experience was amazing, if you’re looking for a car, I recommend going to see Jeremiah.
