This CVS store is the closest to my house but has awful phone operations. Their option selection buttons just don't work very often. You can keep on clicking on any number of them and not get through, so you must physically go there to do what could be done over the phone. I suspect this may be a deliberate thing when they don't want to answer the phone. Frustrating frequent experience. Some other problems with the pharmacy that I don't have time to go into. Don't go there if you have other options. Once I started going to a branch 5 times further away that was open 24 hours, but now they close earlier.

Avoid this pharmacy if you care about your health. People who have implemented the processes and procedure this CVS should really be demoted as no one really knows what's going on. They over promise, do not check their inventory and give false ETAs etc.

DISSAPOINTING SERVICE. WAITED 40 MINS STANDING ONLY TO BE TOLD AT CHECK OUT THAT SYSTEM GOT CLOSED AND CANNOT CHECK OUT. WHO WILL SHUT THE SYSTEM WHEN A CUSTOMER IS STILL IN STORE AND AN EMPLOYEE IS FILLING THE PRESCRIPTION. POOR MANAGEMENT. HIGHLY DISSAPPOINTED IN SERVICE.

I have been trying to get a prescription fill for the past hour. I keep getting automatically forward to a voicemail that is full. One of the many a times I called someone answer me but then put me on hold and then again got transfer to a voicemail that is full. I just called a different pharmacy.

Lisa Bucco is the head of the pharmacy at my CVS in Ramsey….I have never seen anyone better than her. She is calm cool and collected. We were going to switch pharmacy’s because the parking is very difficult in this CVS but after meeting Lisa we were not going anywhere. She listens to you, she explains things, she is knowledgeable and like I said impressed us with her calmness when things are very hectic as they often are. CVS should know what a good employee she is and hold right to her!

Smaller location. Relatively clean and stocked. Pharmacy staff were not very helpful. Not sure I will return unless it is an emergency to do so.

Regarding the pharmacy: Typically, I leave positive reviews, but this marks my first negative one. I strongly advise against using this pharmacy for your medication needs. It appears to be disorganized and overcrowded establishment, severely understaffed and overwhelmed. I sympathize with the employees who bear the brunt of customer frustration, likely leading to errors. I do not use this pharmacy but had to pick up meds for my sis who is away.My recent experience was particularly frustrating. I had my husband pick up her medication early in the morning to avoid the long lines. I say this because I have already gone two days in a row and there have been at least 6-10 people in front of me and one person working the Pick-Up counter. I went on a Friday at 2:40 PM and waited 25 minutes on line to be told my sister's medication was not ready, after my sister told me the pharmacy said they were all ready. So since I was already frustrated with the pharmacy, I sent my husband to pick up my sister's meds the next day. To my dismay, my husband stood on line for 7 minutes before anyone assisted him (he was the only one on line at the pharmacy, I timed it). When he finally got someone to acknowledge him, they informed him that my medication hadn't been processed despite three days of similar assurances, asking him to return the next day.I'm uncertain who manages this pharmacy, but I've cautioned my sister and local family members in Mahwah and Ramsey to seek an alternative pharmacy. I'm even willing to pick up their prescriptions in another Bergen County town, as it appears this pharmacy can't handle the demand in this area. This pharmacy must be the only game in town. If I lived in that area, I would travel to other pharmacies in nearby towns to avoid the foot traffic and lost time waiting on long lines at this particular pharmacy. They need to hire more help for the volume of people that drop off their meds there.

Wife went there for a covid test. No one seemed to know how to do that job. Hours later we get no word of the results of her test. She gets suspicious that something went wrong on their end, calls, and they tell her “oh there was something wrong with the machine, so we don’t know your tests results.” No apology, no follow-up appointment with priority, no nothing. Thanks, CVS!

Absolutely horrible customer service at the pharmacy. No one can be bothered to answer the phone. Hold time in excess of 10 min. Then when they do answer, they just hang up.

This pharmacy's customer service has been declining year after year. Unfortunately, other CVS pharmacies are even slower so I still have to go here, but I recently came to pick up medication and informed the pharmacist at pick-up named Adam that I have new health insurance. I asked if I can get my medication at the same time I update my insurance and he said sarcastically "not unless you wanna pay $72" and told me to move over and wait for assistance from another pharmacist who was busy doing something else. This comment and attitude was so uncalled for and rude after I asked a simple question. On a different occasion a couple months ago, another pharmacist mistakenly told me a new medication I needed contained traces of peanuts which I'm allergic to. After my initial confusion, I left without the medication and sure enough the next day I confirmed with my doctor and the factory manufacturer of the medication that it did not contain peanuts or nuts. I had to go back to get the medication and wasted over an hour of time for no reason. Unorganized and unprofessional pharmacists. It is one thing to dislike your job / being at work and another to act incompetently towards patients who need life-saving medications

This CVS has the worse pharmacy and customer service I have ever seen. They are lazy and the pharmacist clearly does not like doing his job. I would recommend going to some where else.
