Has anyone else noticed how overworked the pharmacists at Walgreens are since they added the vaccines? It is so sad to see! I've walked away without my meds twice because I felt terrible watching them run from side to side and then stop everything to deal with a vaccine customer. Corporate Walgreens, adding another full time responsibility on the already hard working employees is shameful. They are humans working in that store. They are not numbers. HIRE a person to run the vaccines or stop the service. The people who work in the pharmacy at this store are wonderful! I love backing brownies for them, my way to show my appreciation of their wonderful service. Do better by them !!

Consistently poor service from the pharmacy. Today was insanely bad. I had a 4:15 appointment for a vaccine. I arrived by 4:10. They did not take my info until 4:30. 3 times I was told the pharmacist would take me soon. I witnessed the pharmacist bring told I was waiting for a flu shot. 4:55 pm I got called in for my shot. No apologies for the delay...just bam, shot done in less than a minute. What a joke,,unprofessional, poorly run. And, they had 4 people at least working the pharmacy, yet I am left hanging for over 45 minutes. Horrible service

Have been going there for over 40 years and the pharmacy department is exceptional and always friendly I don't go to any other location deserve an award for excellent customer service

They won't answer a phone. On hold for 30 mins while the pick up cause I can them, and then put me right back on hold. Never talked to anyone.

This is the worst pharmacy I have been to. My son who gets his prescription electronically sent "every month" is never ready for pick up on time. When I reported the issue to the pharmacist he was very rude, demonstrate no customer service nor empathy for the situation. I try explaining this is becoming a normal every month. He told no responsibility for the delay in filling my sons prescription. Ex. What what's been happening. When I arrive for pickup only to be told we have to order your son's medication, it would be here in three days. No problem, Return three days later only to be told they forgot to order it. This has happened for three months straight. One woman employee told me to sign up for texts messages so I don't waste my time traveling to Walgreens. and the prescription not be ready. Did that! Keep in mind, my son's Dr sends over the prescription advance so that these things would not occur. As of today, I am still waiting for a prescription. This will be my last encounter with Rahway pharmacy on Saint George's Avenue.

5 stars and beyond! I believe the staff here are running both the cashiers and Fedex service. Anyways, the dark-skinned lady, whose name I believe was Carlyne, was extremely attentive, polite, and efficient. There was no one at the Fedex window, which is inside the Walgreens. I believe she saw me carrying the package from the back, and she immediately started helping me with the dropoff. At the same time, she was coordinating was other staff members on the phone so there would be someone at the cashier for other customers too. What more can you ask for? This rating is for her! Manager, she deserves a bonus and a promotion!

The closest Walgreens to offer full 24hr pharmacy is located on St. George's Ave. in Linden, NJ. The staff at Rahway are friendly and helpful. Good selection of merchandise and clean facility.

Wow! Thanks so much to the excellent staff members that helped my relative who had car trouble after doing her shopping here. She's always happy with the staff that goes above and beyond! To me, it shows the right tone set by management as well. Highly recommend!
