I never had any issues with staff when it was RSI either drive thru or lobby. My first experience with Columbia IRL was to be left waiting at the drive thru after sending the empty cartridge and stating i was there for checking withdrawal. i was told OK and the all three people that had been chatting in the drive thru area disappeared to the lobby.

I miss RSI. I always knew how much was in my account through their app. This one with Columbia Bank is horrible. I never get a clear statement of account. Things are pending for days at a time. Also, a FEE just to check your balance from an ATM?!!! Like I said I miss RSI BANK. I need to shop around for a new bank.

I have been with RSI for over 40 years. Still there now that it is Columbia Bank. I went there today not knowing what to expect, first time after the merger. Anna Bayate-Roberts, Assistant Branch Supervisor, who takes care of my business for over 3 years is still there! And still as wonderful as before. For me nothing changed, great service, not rushed, care about what you have to say, offers products she fells I could be interested. Thank you Anna, I appreciate so much your help today, you went out of your way to make it work. Bank has good rates, but there is nothing more precious than an employee like Anna. I went back on Thursday, brought in money from another bank and opened another account, and a safe deposit box. Experience was even better. Spend with me at least two hours, assisted me by arranging for my POA to go to Marlboro branch, he lives pretty far to come to Rahway Branch. All this with patience, kindness and high professionalism. Hurray for Anna!I also want to thank Monica who is attending Safe Deposit boxes at 1500 Irving St. Rahway, NJ, very helpful and sweet and professional. Thank you Monica, you were great!

I’ve been a customer of RSI now Columbia for over 30 years. Now that they switched the bank charges my account a 5 dollar service fee. RSI never did that . I don’t want to do online banking. I rather have the hard copy, especially with all this hacking into peoples account. I’m very disappointed with the change over.

Horrible unless you like waiting in a line too long while watching the one drive thru person leaving the area, talking and laughing with coworker while you wait.

its a bank that dose not charge fees like the rest of the big banks. Never had a problem here. Friendly staff and always go inside vs drive through.

Has no online support. Made my elderly mother come into the bank during a snow storm to update her email because they couldn't do it over the phone. Never addressed the late fee my mother was charged on her mortgage. Mortgage was due day before my mothers social security and retirement was deposited. This went on 15 years unnoticed and never addressed. Never compensated. Do not use this bank

I can not say enough about Christian and the team at RSI bank. My business bank TD left me in the dark after applying for PPP funding. 30 days later I gave up on them and turned to RSI. With no prior relationship RSI had me applied and approved the same day. I couldn't believe it. RSI now has our business banking.

I have been a customer for 30 years and have had three mortgages with RSI bank. However, I cannot recommend them to anyone any longer. In my opinion the bank has retaliated against me for not selecting them for my homeowners insurance. They will no longer pay my homeowners policy to my current insurer. Yet, they kept collecting my money over the last several months without telling me they would no longer do this. To be fair, they did refund the escrow, but only after informing me that they would not be making this payment. I could have used this money on my own or in an account that was interest bearing. This is not a community bank any longer. They don't respect or appreciate their customers any longer. The larger they get the more impersonal they become. Shame on RSI bank.

I have had an a account here since I was a child, maybe 10 years old. I now have 4 accounts and my gs troop banks here too. I have had some small issues but everyone bends over backwards to fix it to YOUR liking. I also love walking into a bank and people know who you are. Never experienced that at other larger banks. I'm not going anywhere for awhile. Unless I leave the state, This is my bank for life!!!

I've been banking with RSI for about 4 years now. Between the locations, there is always at least one branch open for all the days in the week. It's definitely a more personable experience compared to the “Big†banks. I've referred friends there as well who have received amazing rates for their homes. I also here exceptional things about their commercial department. If you're in the Union County area, I'd definitely have at least one account with this bank.
