Terrible terrible place. Not sure why it's still open! No one works there! Before I drove in 30 minutes of traffic to come to this location, I called and was told that these two cameras that I wanted to look at were on display. I get to the store and find out they are not on display, nor do they have them for me to see. At this time I was also informed that I really didn't speak to anyone at the store and all of their calls go to a call center and the person who answered the phone has no access to their inventory. So I was lied to. I stood in the store walking around for a good 10 minutes to try to find an employee to ask where this camera was, but no one was in sight.Went to the front and spoke to the front end manager who got a store manager and just said sorry you spoke to someone in the call center. We don't even have a phone here.Don't waste your time unless you know what you want and you order it online for pick up.

Worst experience ever. These guys are rude. I paid them $150 plus tax BOOKED an appointment to install a backup camera, mentioned in note what backup camera system I had, drove 50 minutes to get here only to find the technician VERY RUDELY says he "doesn't have time" to install. These are the rudest people I've met. NEVER AGAIN.

Would give 0 stars if I could. My mother ordered a gas range with installation service from them. Was supposed to be delivered on 8/12/23, never came. Took a day off from work to wait for it, called them multiple times throughout the day, they assured me "its out for delivery, its coming." Nope. The next day they rescheduled it for the 17th. On the 17th, they bring it in, and can't install it because my gas pipe is not the size of the adapter piece they have. The installer told me my pipe is a common size, but they don't carry any adapters, so he can't do it. We complain to best buy, and they promise that they will come back on the 23rd with adapters. They come back on the 23rd, no adapters, no notes about that, can't install it. We've had no stove for almost a week. Talking to the Geek Squad people is infuriating, nobody knows what the previous agent said, if I wasn't taking screen shots of these conversations it would all be lost forever. We have been BB customers for a long time, but never again. I'm using up the store credit I have remaining and then never shopping here again. For anything that requires delivery and installation, buyer beware!!!

Went with my daughter to upgrade an IPHONE and submit a totaltech claim for a damaged phone earlier this evening at the Princeton Store. After getting the run around from a number of sales staff on how to submit a claim, I was informed I would need to make an appt with the geeks at GEEKSQUAD. We waited about 10 mins ( even though we now had an appointment). I explained the issue with the damaged phone and that I wanted to submit a totaltech claim. It was obvious the geeksquad guy was having some trouble with verifying if my totaltech membership was active. He rhen calls rhe head Geek over- If I recall, his name was John., but I wasn't really listening since at this point I was getting really angry. The head geek-John becomes condescending and rude by telling us that my membership was canceled and that i would have to buy AppleCare separately from totaltech if i wanted to file a claim for an iphone He continues to work really hard to prove his point with two important pieces of information that were incorrect ( andlater verified at another store. All I know is the outcome of the conversation would have been very different if my daughter had not been with me. I will NEVER step into the Princeton BestBuy store ever again!

I keep trying to get a hold of the Geek Squad dept but the phone and even online keeps trying to make me bring it in without allowing me to ask questions to even assess if it's worth bringing in. I'm not wasting a bunch of time bringing it all the way in if I don't know what it may cost or if they're even able to repair it, so answer the phones...

Store is devoid of employees except those in front. Found an employee to help me. Was trying to sell me the most expensive tablet. Let them to the Kindle display. Told me those are all sold out. I then led the employee to the cabinet that clearly showed some of the devices were available. They reluctantly removed it from cabinet. I needed a storage card and other devices. Person did accommodate me. I was not aware until returning home the employee did not remove one of the devices from a clear security case. Tried calling to see how I can remove it from said device and instead got a snarky sarcastic girl who was only there to agitate and not help. Also it looks like you have within 15 days to return products now. Which I will be doing. This location needs better training.

The last two times I've gone into this location I've asked questions not to staff but the staff answered my questions in a sarcastic manner. They seem to think they're smarter. I have a credit card with best buy, bought a TV, camera, blue ray player, etc. Train your staff how to have respect for customers or I'll take my business elsewhere.

Terrible store. I ordered a MacBook Pro during Black Friday. After a week long wait, I was supposed to pick it up from the Princeton store. It's forever in delay status despite the fact that they actually have inventory for store sales since Monday. Finally fed up, I canceled the order and placed a new one to pick up from Oxford Valley store. Within less than an hour, the store has it ready for me to pick up. Luckily it was still on sale when I placed the new order. Otherwise I would get screwed by the Princeton store. So take my advice - if you buy online and choose to pick up in store, don't do it with this store. It's terrible. I will not set a step in this store again despite buying from them on and off for a couple years. The store manager needs to get their act together. Best Buy - if you are reading this, it's not a terrible idea to close it down or shake things up in this store. They tarnish your brand!

I attempted to purchase a washer and dry from the appliance desk. Delivery of washer and dryer was schedule twice and each time the 3rd party delivery installers refused to unload the machines. They claimed the water connections to the washer didn't shut off. Not true. I did it myself after they left. They claimed there was no room for the dryer. I turned the machine myself 90 degrees without disconnecting the vent or gas line. So not true; they didn't even try. this didn't happen just once, but twice. Very disappointed. I bought different machines from a local company who has their own installers. Appliances from Best Buy? Never again.

I was disabled for a month and confined completely to bed by a back injury. The Apple Pro2 that I bought were opened today 11/8 and are incompatible with my Xfinity X1 box.I called and spent 15 minutes on hold before being told not even a store credit. Best Buy has the worst return policy in electronics retail, and then won't grant a six day extension for even a store credit. This is a cold, callous, mean company. May they join Circuit City soon.

My sister who is handicapped brought her Ipad in as not working properly and her only means of outside communication. They were not able to fix it and sent out Geek Squad (Brian) who is apparently the only person they use. He was unable to resolve the issue and was not helpful at all and seemed frustrated with her. She made another appointment as the store said nothing they could do and another appointment was made with Brian. He canceled day if and said he cannot help. This is no way to run a business and help people. I just called the store to discuss this and was asked if wants the computer department and just purchase another one. This place has lost Lu business and well as my family and friends!!

If I could give no stars I would. Had an appointment at 4:40 with GeekSquad. A certified Apple repair place. I saw the geek squad people, could tell by uniform, were walking around the store, laughing and making jokes about who would Hager stuck with which customers, wasn't acknowledged at all, even after a 20 minute wait. Complete disaster. Staff are completely unprofessional, and I felt completely like an annoyance. Tried to get help to Nj avail.

I purchased a $1300.00 radio for my car back in January. It included installation but it took 2 months to get an appointment. After leaving it there for an hour, the tech called me and said he couldn't get my dash off. I told him that I can come back to remove it (which literally takes 3 minutes on a Jeep Wrangler). He said no and refused to do the job. I wrote an Email to the branch team leaders and corporate but got no reply. After spending a fortune at their store over the years, I would never go back. They could not care less about their customers

These people, one, try to rip you off, and if you are not aware of what you are doing, or what you should be getting, they would succeed. They are rude, unhelpful, sarcastic, aggressive, and a bunch of liars. They use "i'm new," as an excuse if they get caught trying to rip you off. "New?" Shouldn't they be properly trained before they start dealing with customers? They refuse to put you through to the store, if you call, and send the calls to some call center, even if you ask for the store. If you chose an option, the system hangs up on you. The employees stand outside the door and smoke, and make the place smell, and look disgusting and unprofessional. Not one good thing to write about them. They have lost a customer for life.

Welcoming staff! Excellent customer service! The pandemic has made most experiences trying, but I have not had one trying experience at the Princeton Best Buy. Thank you!
