An older korean couple was running the store when I went and they were cursing at and profiling my friends and I in korean -- ofc she didnt realize i was korean and understood what she was saying. She also told her husband to "watch them closely" and complained that we were taking photos and sending them to our friends when we were doing so because we were getting gifts for them? Didnt know it was a crime to send photos to ur friends lol.
As a Korean, these owners make me ashamed. Korean culture heavily emphasizes humility, respect, and strict mannerisms. What a shame that they express none of that.

Cute selection of trinkets ! They had a lot of merch from anime to comedy shows. Some of the aisles are narrow so be careful with your bag. My only issue is was I felt the owner glaring at me as I was looking around which felt odd :(

could not even look around or shop without the owners BREATHING down my neck. i wanted to look at the plushies at the back of the store and the lady pushed me out of the way and blocked it saying they’re deciding to clean back there today. and i couldn’t even look at the stationary without the man circling around me like a shark. made me feel so uncomfortable while trying to shop. absolutely never coming back here.

Genuinely worst experience. Overpriced and overcrowded shop with rude people. Would recommend going to any other small business on Nassau— much more reasonably priced and they have a lot more variety. A waste of space. Should just shut down….

They have a great selection of items! The only thing that made me uncomfortable is the fact that the owners were following us the entire time. Made me feel like I was doing something wrong but I was shopping :(. The owner’s daughter was super sweet, she’s at the register. But be warned that you will literally be followed around. I understand that you need to make sure no one shoplifts but that is way too excessive. I own a business but do not go to the length of following my customers around. Sorry but I was not comfortable here.

They have a very nice selection of things, everything is so cute! The space is pretty tight so it's a little awkward getting around when it's busy.

I felt like very uncomfy and left soon because from the moment we entered the store the owner was watching, following us, and the staff was talking about us. It felt like it was def a race thing because they didn't do it to the white people there. Very disappointed.

The employees were always staring at the monitor after I entered into the store. And when I checked in the product I want to buy, the younger woman glanced the things and curled her lips. It might because I only buy a tarot cards deck lol. Won't buy things here anymore.

I was so excited to visit this store!!! They have a nice selection of blind boxes (it’s hard to find Sonny Angels, so I am thrilled they had some!), plushies, stationary, and just cute gifts in general. The shop is pretty small and can be difficult to get around, but I know they had to recently change locations. The owners were so lovely and kind, they offered baskets and helped me with some questions I had, and thanked me for coming by. I hope to visit again in the future!

I’ve seen a lot of one star reviews that accuse the owners of following them around the store and cornering them etc. Me and my sister shop in this store frequently and have nothing but good things to say. We love the range of cute collectibles and it’s one of our go-to shops when we’re in princeton! The lady at the cashier especially is so sweet! People should probably be more sympathetic with business owners who are just trying to run their store. Please check this place out when you’re in the area :)

Limelite is amazing! The owners are helpful and the store is really cozy. I was mainly there for my sonny angel and smiski hunt, but they also have a lot of other really cool items. There were quite a few limited sonny angel collections, including I was looking for, priced perfectly. I also happened to get the exact sonny I wanted (the little guy holding the fish), which I was very happy about. I highly recommend this store in general!

Absolutely horrible experience in this store. When I went there, I felt like I was getting cornered by the staff. I felt like a criminal when I was literally just trying to buy a gift because the store owners are so so insecure about shoplifting. It’s an extremely uncomfortable and hostile environment, definitely would not recommend.Response: The fact that you are responding to this is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. This is threatening and the last time I checked, The Consumer Review Fairness Act states that it is illegal to penalize or threaten customers when they post an honest review.

The shop keepers are very kind and attentive. They have the cutest items in, and seem to get new things in often. This is always a must stop when I come to Princeton!
