A very well maintained property, and I like it. Starbucks is inside with decent food. There is no bar, so I recommend BYOB. Also, they give free ? bottles in the room, and there is supposed to be free breakfast. The best thing for me is the ability to watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube with my login credentials. The front desk young lady is very efficient. I am coming back!Rooms: Nice size, with a couch and a work table.Nearby activities: Close to Princeton University.Walkability: None, need a car.Food & drinks: Starbucks inside.

This Courtyard is subpar to other locations. The rooms are old and very basic. They messed up my reservation and called me when I was in transit to let me know they were over sold and they needed to move me down the street to the Double Tree. Then I got an email a short while later to ignore the message and that they made a mistake. There are also not a lot of food options within walking distance. I would not stay in this Courtyard again.

About the service, I would start by saying that Ted is great! Kind, he helped in improving our experience greatly. The lady at the coffee counter was also great! The room was nice, clean and what you would expect from a Marriott.Everything seem well maintained and recent. The facilities are also good. The swimming pool is a bit limited (3 and 4 feet) but it still works. The gym is also limited but it does the work. The parking has plenty of space so that's a great plus. The location is near the Princeton campus so that's also great!Overall, I strongly recommend.

The attendant at the desk was obviously tired, and he told me so. The room was dark and dingy, and the hallway to the room wreaked of weed. To top it off, a bug ran across the floor once I was inside the room. The only thing that saved this review from an overall 1 is the location and the shower. The water was perfect and the massage shower head was wonderful.!I did not want to leave the shower.

I read a number of reviews about this hotel before staying there. It’s a 3-star hotel that served its purpose. Soon it will need some TLC, but if you need a place to stay in this area, this will work.

I hate having to write reviews like this -- I really try to see the positive and see the glass as at least half full. Can't do that here. This stay was really disappointing. Especially at the price point. Shopped a variety of hotel options for a one night stay (grad school drop off) and selected this property on the assumption that the Marriott brand would provide a quality, consistent experience. Boy was I ever wrong. The front desk staff was the exception -- kind, polite, professional throughout. Tip of the hat to them in case management is reading this review. Called ahead to ensure the room was feather free (a need of mine) and was assured it was taken care of.Oddly, the front desk wasn't sure if the cafe would be open that evening when we arrived -- perhaps a function of the current employment environment where it's so difficult to find employees. Turns out it was open...Beyond that, I found the property to be kind of threadbare, the common areas to be not very well cleaned, the halls to be sweltering hot (not that one spends that much time in them...), and the room to be in disrepair and not well cleaned.Fortunately, the Marriott beds made for a pretty good night's sleep, and the air conditioning worked well enough. The bathroom in our room was sort of gross. Hair left on the floor. A tub whose sloppy reglazing job was delaminating -- I've seen better looking bathtubs in a frat house. And, as an added bonus and final insult, a toilet handle that broke in the middle of the night, leaving the toilet running and requiring a manual flush whenever we used it thereafter.Notified the front desk of these issues on the way out and would have hoped for a room credit or a few extra Bonvoy points for a very full priced room (only a few dollars less than a more premium brand jurist down the road...). The last bits of good news: Gentleman server at the cafe in the morning was fabulous. Super friendly. Also looked as though the fitness center -- although somewhat sparse -- was in good shape.Wondering if the broader themes are a sign of a property that's being "milked" for cash as they prepare to tear it down or rehab it. In the interim, I suggest the more premium brand just down the road.... This stay was not worthy of the Marriott name.

Wow, this brand is going downhill. This is the worst Courtyard Marriott I've ever stayed in and was luckily only there for 2 nights on business. I suppose it was a good thing that I was only poked by bed coils each time I sat on the side of the bed and not when I was laying on top of it. Even though I ran the A/C which normally helps to dry out the air, the carpet and all table surfaces constantly felt wet and sticky. I'm convinced the room had mold because we felt sick with sinus congestion in the rom which cleared up when we left. The lighting in the room was dim which made the place even drearier. I was told upon check-in that rooms are only serviced every other day which was fine with me since I usually skip/minimize hotel room cleanings coming from drought-prone California. However, I think this was not about water conservation and more that services and staff have not fully resumed since COVID. One positive is they let me check out late without an additional fee since my flight was delayed.

Very friendly and professional people throughout the hotel! The rooms were clean but look old and worn out. You can see rust all over the sprinkler heads and bathroom faucets are loose.Oddly there is only ONE elevator for a hotel with three floors. Hard to believe that meets building code. They are not running the air conditioning anywhere in the hallways or elevators. None of the ice machines work on all three floors. No free breakfast which seems to be the norm for this brand, but at least they should offer coffee and tea in the lobby like all the other competing hotels. The location seems good on the map, just 5-10 minutes away from a medical facility and Princeton University, but that specific section of highway 1 is jammed for most of the day. Not a lot of food options in the area. Take the back road from the hotel if you want to go anywhere across highway 1 or north. If you’re headed south, add some extra time for the traffic.

The room had an unusual odor, the bar was nice at night time but the breakfast which I only did my first morning there was horrible and disgusting. It was so bad I tossed most of it.There is a lot of traffic around this area, however can’t fault the hotel for this as it is a Princeton problem:Would I stay again? Prob not as the odor was a bit strange. Maybe if Marriott gives this older hotel some love it’ll be a yes in the future.

Everything was fantastic and I highly recommend this hotel. I want to give Alexandria W. A huge shout out for all her help and support. Would love to thank upper management for having her on your team. I’ll be back soon!

I spent one night at hotel. The room was clean When I went to turn off the shower the entire mechanism came out of the wall. As I was sleeping I was awakened by a screeching noise. It was the fridge. I crawled on the floor to unplug itWhen I reported this to the front desk, no apology just that they would tell maintenance. Even the iveachime was broken. One staff member, Antonia, at the cafe, was pleasant and helpful. My advice, STAY AWAY!

Room faced the highway that's about 50 ft away (photo). Acts like an echo chamber for traffic which you can hear loud and clear. Only covered up intermittently by a loud AC unit that you can't turn off. Hotel provided caffeinated tea to help "light sleepers", wanted us to pay for decaf (photo of letter). Staff was kind enough to give for free, but only by chance due to the missing bartender.Room poorly maintained, with multiple things broken (photo).Highway 1 is an absolute clusterf*** to navigate, even if just trying to get to the hospital on the other side as I was. Recommend staying a bit farther away as your drive is going to be longer than expected anyway.
