“This sanctuary exists to protect animals and plants as well as provide information on preserving the environment. It's not a large property but these sanctuaries are essential. It's a great place to bring your kids and give them some incite on nature. You can go by during business hours to take a walk, watch some birds, learn about nature, take some pictures or have a picnic. There is a book store and a gift shop on this beautiful property. Check out their website if you are interested in a one of the classes or workshops they provide. It's also a great place for a field trip.”

“I lived at Packanack for 46 years with my children. It was always a friendly, inclusive place to live. It is welcoming to all new comers, no matter what their faith, creed or nationality, should be. Please keep it that way. Accept all, tall or short, gay or straight, Hispanic, Italian, Irish, Jewish, Asian or Muslim. We are all one in the sight of God. This beauty should be enjoyed by all. “PROS: this place was very nice. Historically a train station that was renovated into a shop. The staff was nice, prices were amazing, variety of items plentiful, everything was organized, and the items were good quality. There was even loads of parking CONS: the place wasn't all that big which caused congestion inside. OVERALL: I will definitely come back here as this is an amazing place to go thrifting”

“I cannot say enough how this place has helped me within the last 2yrs. I would like others go down there on line and was having issues trying carry it all until one day an employee reached out to me and asked if I was disabled since they saw my license plates. I usually don't play the oh poor me thing bcuz I'm disabled so I n ver stated my struggle since they opened there doors to me without questions. A representative asked for my number and explained that a new program was starting and I would have to qualify to get home delivery and I do. Thank you CUMAC. They also reached out to me to help me see if I qualify for anything else and that was just recent. Jenny is who I met with and made me feel so comfortable and addressed all my concerns to get me the additional help I need. This place truly helps the community.”

“Excellent adult swim courses. Scott and Ellie do a really good job at teaching adults with little to no experience how to swim. If you barely know how to float, this is a good start. My son has told me the boys locker rooms need some loveAll the instructors are dedicated to ensuring younger student pass their swim levels. The lifeguards could be a little bit more attentive during classes, they sometimes look spaced out”

“Well I work there, so I guess you could call me a little prejudiced. This is a mentally disabled, and/or partially physically disabled adult facility. They have a center where people arebrought in from Clifton and many different towns surrounding Clifton. Some are bused in by the center. Some are brought in by the people in there homes. They usually stay for a 6 to 7 hour period. There are quite a few Staff there to help them with many different projects, playing games and learning practical skills. Like cooking, cleaning and such. They're very well taken care of. They go on little trips to the store, etc. And they are all made to feel at home in a structured environment. This is a good place for special needs people to gather for time away from their homes, and for their family's peace of mind.”
