**BLOWOUT WITH EXTENSIONS REVIEW**I was in the area yesterday and decided to get a last minute blow out. I called and they were able to get me in around the time I requested which I appreciated greatly. I let them know in advance I have extensions. I got to the salon a few minutes early and parked in a designated customer spot. I was then greeted at my car by one of the stylist as she knocked on my window and asked why I was parked there. I found it odd and I was a little taken back because she did startle me. She explained the parking is sparse and they have issues with people parking there when they shouldn’t be. Totally understood. I walked in through the wrong entrance because the stylist said “come on in” so I followed her. Unbeknownst to me it was the back entrance into the back room and I was greeted coldly. I felt very uncomfortable from the moment I stepped into the salon. I went to the front and waited to be called back. The stylist who did my hair was friendly and pleasant. I had mentioned when I made the appointment that I had extensions and again when I arrived. She brought me right back to the sink and started washing my hair. I cautioned her to be gentle because I did not want my keratin bond extensions to be broken. She did a pretty okay job at washing my hair but did not brush my hair through before wetting it so it knotted immediately. She put barely any product in my hair and began blowing it out after having to brush out all of the knotting caused by the washing. I asked for volume and a bounce that a classic blow style gives you. There was not even an attempt to give the volume or bounce I requested. She blew it out completely straight, no volume and my bangs were sticking straight out. After she tried messing with them for a few minutes I just said it’s fine I’ll do it. I’m a cosmetologist as well and understand the job so I try to be kind and not leave reviews but this was just an odd experience. I would’ve been better off saving the money and discomfort this place gave me and just did it myself.Service: Blowouts

Tiffany deserves props for the great job she did with my course hair. It is hard to find a place in New Jersey that does hair that isn't pin straight wash and blow. I highly recommend Salon SL, and if you could, ask for Tiffany.

Last minute decision to get my hair cut. I called and thankfully was able to get an appointment. Annie was my stylist. Everyone was so friendly and extremely professional! Can't wait to go back. Thank you Annie! I got so many compliments on my new hairstyle.

Awesome personalities, awesome hair cuts. Usually in and out decently fast, even when there is a line, quality of the cuts aren’t sacrificed for speed. Couldn’t recommend more.

Went to this Salon for the first time and was greeted with a warm welcome.Annie is fantastic and did such an amazing job with my hair.She did exactly what I asked for and was so pleasant.If you are looking for someone who listens to what you want and treats you like a queen, Salon SL is the place to go to with sweet Annie.Prices were reasonable too.

I have been going to Salon SL for YEARS!!!! I could not be happier with the services provided and they always make me feel so comfortable. I love how my hair turns out after every visit. Sofía is the BEST!!!!! I love it so much, I even have my Mom going to this salon now. I cannot say enough wonderful things, and I will be going for years to come, no doubt!!!!!!
