All the doctors there are great. Compassionate care. So good with our dog. We even took our gerbils there when we needed an exotic vet and they were wondeful.

From the moment you walk in you are greeted with 2 beautiful smiles. Kelly loves pets and Dr. Silver is very thorough. We appreciated the transparency with the procedure and the cost associated. This will be where we will come always. Highly recommended.

Stay away from this place! Every visit is 2 hours minimum because they're so slow to do anything, then last night I show up to my appointment at 6 pm to find the place locked and closed when the door and Google both say they are there until 9 pm. They just told me that they closed 6 hours early because they didn't have a doctor. What kind of Vet office doesn't have a vet? And I'd love to leave my job 6 hours early some days too but it's called being professional. They also never called to notify me of this and then claimed they couldn't even find the appointment in their system. Total mismanagement

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I brought my 12 year old Beagle here three times for the same illness. The first visit they evaluated him gave him meds within a few months I was back again and he was leaking blood. They did urine culture to send out told me to wait and see what it came back. Well when I left there dripping blood became full loss of blood. I don’t know what they did but I took him back again wearing diapers because the blood was so bad. They never even looked at the amount of blood loss he was having and just gave him more meds did blood work to send out which was another thing I would be waiting for. My dog was getting weaker. I finally took him to AERA in west Caldwell where I should have went in the first place where there are skilled vets after trying to call Pompton emergency number and got no answer by this time he was anemic which the didn’t detect at Pompton even though his gums were already light pink and had a heart murmur which Pompton had told me his heart and lungs were good. Needless to say upon AERA internal examine they found out he had a serious condition AERA tried to call Pompton to get the records of what they did during his visits and got no answer. Finally after much discussion with the vet about that he might not last a few more days we had no choice but to put him down while he still had a little life instead of struggling for life he was that far along. Pompton cost me 2,140 dollars in the course of three visits and did nothing for my dog except lead him to his death. IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMAL STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
