Pompton Lakes branch is great!!!! I always dread going to do transactions in the bank (never know what kind of attitude you will get) but everyone here greets you with a smile and are HAPPY to help you! Michelle helped me close, tranfer, and open accounts so easily! Even took the time to do some calculations for me! So appreciated!!!

This is the worse bank ever. I was and Atlantic Stewardship customer for years and had the best service ever. When this bank took over the service is lousy none of their people give you the same information. It you find a fraudulent charge on your debit card and call about it while it is pending they do NOTHING to stop the charge to go through. They pay it and then tell you, you have to fill out a form to dispute it. In other words they keep the money that comes out of your bank account without even protecting you and your money. They also don't send anything in writing they want to speak to you on the phone and as I said each person gives you different information. This bank is a sorry excuse for a bank before you put your money here I would check out other banks. I would like to give this a minus 1 but the lowest I can give for this rating is 1.

Miserable, Hateful Bank and Manager! If you want a vile taste of hate and racism, this is the bank to go to! Like many banks, the bank offers coffee to anyone coming in, so, since I was in the area, I stopped in for a cup yesterday afternoon. But before I could take it out of the Keurig machine, a woman - presumably the manager - began to ask some rather rude, racist, hateful questions...including what I was doing in the bank, if I had a job, and if I worked in Pompton Lakes. These are the typical racist, "we don't want your kind here"-type questions one would have expected to hear in Mississippi last century, and maybe even in rural New Jersey. But they were especially hateful and disgusting to hear in 2020 at a bank that clearly doesn't want certain ethnic groups to walk into its premises. I left the coffee cup in the machine untouched and walked out. If I'm looking for a Klan meeting, I don't need to go to a Columbia Bank! What a despicable company!

This branch is absolutely terrible. The drive service sucks. They never say hello, thank you, or anything. They now have blacked out the window so you can't see anyone and they can't see you. Multiple times I've gotten the response sorry we couldn't see anyone there, when it took awhile to answer on the video screen. It's been this way for 5 years. Take the extra time to drive to Oakland

Terrible bank. Their online system is not updated and in real time, therefore the available balance line is not always accurate. Often at times charges are held and won't hit your account until 2 or 3 days later. They say that their system is not updated and in real time but when I overdraw my play account, and then transferred the money into that account to cover it, the fee hits the moment the account is overdrawn and even if you transfer the money the same business day, even 10 seconds later, the fee is still there. This is in contrast with every other bank that I've researched. When it comes to charging fees, all of a sudden, the system is too updated. They don't process credits before debits as other banks do, which means if I use my debit card 5 times in the course of a business day, and on the first 4 transactions my account is in the positive, but then I overdraw my account on the 5th transaction, if the system processes that 5th transaction 1st, you will get insufficient funds fees for all 5 transactions, $35í—5........and yes, this has happened. I've asked the specific questions and I will be closing out my accounts one my first direct deposit hits the account I've just opened up. The Atlantic Stewardship Bank is a much better option. They have minimum interest bearing accounts, they process credits before debits, and if an account goes overdrawn, you have until the end of the business day to transfer the money in before a fee will hit the account.
