This business ripped me off! I brought 5 pairs of pants to be hemmed which they charge $125 for. They said they would be ready in 2 weeks. I show up the day that they were supposed to be done and the lady laughs at me and says they are not done yet I need to come back 2 days later. I come back 2 days later, I pay the $125 in full and she hands me my pants. Catch is when I get home I realize they only hemmed 3 of the 5 pairs. Unbelievable, I can’t believe this place is in business.

I was in a rush for cruise so I went to Fast Tailoring left them 4 shirts which is what they could get finished in time. Each hem $15.00.
Brought 2 shirts (one shirt exact same) to Starlane they charges $38. EACH!!! Simple hems! MORE THAN DOUBLE Fast Tailoring!!!

Charged an exorbitant amount of money to have a gown hemmed, only hemmed. I’ve been to multiple other seamstresses in town, Kim and Jeans and Jane’s and had dresses/gowns hemmed with two layers for $40-$60 was charged $150 after I was told it should cost $189. I was told that she’d have to let me know how much it was because it was two layers, having had dresses hemmed before I thought it’d be a more reasonable price, really bad business. Don’t go here, save your money and go elsewhere..Service: Alterations

I am giving this place a one star because it wont let me give less. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! I went to get a dress hemmed 2"and the straps taken up 1" for my daughter's wedding. Christine (one of the owners) had me try it on and measured it. I asked her how much it would be and she told me she could not tell me at that time because she was not the one who does the work. She took my name and number and told me she would call once she asked. Over a week went by and I decided to go there to see what was going on. She said that it was done and showed me a tag saying $245 and proceeded to tell me that she would only charge me $200. I only paid $112 for the dress on sale!!! I wish I would have read reviews on this place before I came here. One review was the exact same word for word she told me...DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE LOTS OF MONEY TO THROW AROUND!!!!!Service: Alterations

I dropped a dress off to get hemmed. They told me they didn’t have the price because the man doing it was going to let me know. I went to pick up my dress, never getting a call with price. They charged me $245?

This place is out to rip you off!! I called ahead and asked if they could tailor a dress. I needed it hemmed only (it was a 2 layer hem). The woman said yes bring it right in, I did. She did the fitting and at the end told me she couldnt tell me exactly how much it would cost. This is due to the dress having 2 layers but it shouldnt be bad. I said okay. I came back to pick it up just now and she tells me the cost to hem the dress is $168 dollars. The dress was $225. I told her (Christine) that I was very unhappy with that- I have had dozens of dresses hemmed all over and that this is a ridiculously unfair price. (This is not about the money its about the principle- if you were going to be so exorbitant- be able to quote me ahead!) There was no explanation, simply - it was alot of work. This place is out to get one over on people.Beware!!!! I would have liked to have given zero stars.Service: Alterations

They repaired a pair of shorts and when I picked them up they smelled like a Chinese restaurant. Also they were to call me with a price before doing another alteration and didn't $100.00 later. Never going back there.Service: Alterations

My items that were repaired smelled like a Chinese restaurant I had to wash the item 3 times to get rid of the smell. Also over priced on her alterations.

This business changed hands about 12 years ago. When they first took over, I brought a dress over to be cleaned, not realizing it was different people running the place. I gave them a shot and they ruined it. The tag said not to use heat and they did and melted it. I had recently bought it so luckily I was able to go back to the store and buy another one. I brought them the new dress (with tags) and the receipt. They paid me cash exactly what I paid for it. Problem solved but I never went back. My husband used their services recently to clean his suit (I don't know why) for an event. The suit was cleaned but he came home with a blue shirt instead of his white one. They gave him someone else's shirt. He brought it back and was given a white shirt but not his. They told him they couldn't find his and that he could keep that one. That is ridiculous. Not only are they not giving him his shirt but they are screwing someone else by letting him keep their shirt?! He took it and wore it to the event even though it was too big on him. After the event, I brought it back and waited there until his correct shirt was located. I got it and thanked them. They weren't mean or rude. They apologized. I felt extremely relieved but he will not use their services again and, obviously, neither will I.
