I’m fairly new to online banking. I’m kind of old-school, I tried to open a secured credit card online, but couldn’t do it and went into the branch for help and basically got told I was on my own. You have to do it on your phone and then when I didn’t have the funds in another account to fund the credit card I asked if I could go out to the ATM and put cash in and she said no we’re closing. She was very rude very condescending and every freaking time I go in there I get made to feel like I’m inconveniencing them, they can care Less about somebody with a few hundred dollars in their account and who doesn’t understand things 100% no help at all back to wish I could take away one star but Google won’t let me

Excellent customer service is the reason I still use OceanFirst even though I don’t live full time in NJ. It’s been several years since I’ve been in NJ and I was shocked by the consolidation of full service branches. Other than that OceanFirst is a terrific, local feel, bank. They’ve really improved their online banking which is another reason I continue to use them.

I had one of the best customer service experiences with Susan H. She was well informed, friendly and very professional. She spent 1 hour with me on a late Friday afternoon to solve a banking issue with me! Truly amazing! I will definitely continue banking here knowing I have her as a customer service rep!

Absolutely disappointed. One of your machines ate/destroyed my elderly mother’s check, and you basically shrugged and told her to get another one. Unacceptable. YOUR machine was faulty and caused the issue. My folks have been with you 40 years, and myself and my sister for 20. Untold thousands of dollars trusted with you. I’ll be taking my money and our money elsewhere unless this is handled professionally. You don’t mistreat elderly folks and drag them into back rooms to just shrug your shoulders at the problem. Disgusting. I’ll be up there in person soon.

Went to cash a check and was asked for two forms of ID. Only ID I had was my drives licence and my New Jersey state cannibus card. After she realized that I handed her a cannibus card I was informed the bank could not cash my check . I would had given a zero if it I could .
