I had to have My car towed to m & m. $155 Out-of-pocket. Before that, I called and made sure that they could repair any Mercedes issues to include programming for either an ignition switch or a starter. They assured me that they could do anything that Mercedes could need After one hour of diagnostics, I get a phone call saying I may have to take it to Mercedes. But they were going to continue to look at it. I waited another business day for an update or phone call. I finally called at the end of the day to find out they hadn’t even looked at it again. I said what happens if you can’t fix it are you gonna pay for the tow to Mercedes? The owner said absolutely not. I said I would never have towed it to you. If I knew there was a chance that you couldn’t do the repair. The owner then said well you can come get it now because I’m not paying for a tow. This is the kind of character these people have. Do not use them!!!
* Notice in M & M’s reply they NEVER mentioned the fact that they called me to tell me they might not be able to fix it and I might have to take it to a Mercedes Dealership (after they emphatically said they could repair whatever was needed). They also never addressed the fact that if they couldn’t repair it they would (“Absolutely not”)pay for the tow. It was at that point he said well you might as well come get your car now cause I’m not gonna work on it anymore! And THAT’s when I called him an A HOLE! And I should be nicer?? #1 You should always stand behind your word as a business owner. #2 You should’ve offered to pay for the tow since you lured me to your business under false pretenses. #3 A respectful business will always do the right thing to ensure customer satisfaction. Especially when a situation goes awry. M & M is at fault……and even in this review is trying to shift blame to the customer!

My family has been going to M & M for years. Between us we have 5 cars. Recently my Mother had her car towed to M & M based on the assurance that they could fix either the ignition switch or the starter for her Mercedes. She specifically asked them if that was within their capability so she didn’t have to go to Mercedes. They responded that they could fix whatever issue was needed. Not only did they not fix it. They told her if they couldn’t they would not pay for the tow to Mercedes. They were rude and my family will never go back there. And we will encourage any other people to not go there as well.

Save your self the headache and stay away from this place, it is not what it was at one time. New mechanics ruined my car. Brought it in for one thing and ending up with nothing but headaches one after another and they would not take the responsibility for it. Not until another location diagnosed the problem and yes it was a problem brought on by M& M mechanics, I was driving around in a car that was not safe. I would never go back and made sure everyone I sent there through the years knew my experience so they would not go back.Services: General repairs & maintenance

Moved to the area recently, did a quick search and saw many of the reviews said 5 stars and reasonably priced.I dont often go to mechanics so not top of mind of what pricing is what. Showed up and he said a standard Oil change is going to be $150 (seemed high to me, but i was already there) and to check my aircon he wanted $200 (i also questioned as that seems high) to just look at it. I am between work meetings in a rush, so said go ahead, but dont make any further repairs before checking with me.Lucky i did, he called this morning and said the air con would run me $1700 just to replace a compressor, i declined.I checked previous mechanic receipts and oil changes consistently have been between $60- 80, so now going in to pick up my car i feel ripped off.I just showed up, saw the itemized receipt for a standard oil change and to "diagnose" my aircon and paid $155 + 170 +tax= $356. I asked him if there was anything he could do, as this seems dramatically more expensive than other locations and his answer was, i told you the price yesterday and you agreed.I dont know in what world people wrote that these guys were reasonable, but sharing my experience to anyone else as this seems my last resort.Service: Oil change

Busted my tail light out. Called at 3pm and ordered the light. I was told a price and cost of installation that I was happy with ($195 for part and $15 for installation). Got a call at 9am the next morning, which was great, and I was told to come in. They had it replaced within 20 minutes, which is fantastic when you consider most automotive places. What ruined the experience for me is that the guy rung me up for over $100 more than what I was quoted. I said whoah, how much was my tail light? Then magically, the price came down to $230. Over the phone I was told it was $195 plus $15 for installation. I don’t mind paying $35 for installation BUT not only was I misquoted but it seemed like they tried to pull a fast one on me with the price. Great service, but be cautious at checkout. It did not seem like an accident to me.

I can't tell you if their work is good or not. What I can tell you is that the estimate I was given for a wheel bearing replacement was ridiculous. Over $600 for one wheel bearing plus labor? No. What kind of ridiculous labor per hour could they charge? I received 3 other estimates that were no where near that costly from other mechanics. Just be forwarned and get other estimates before giving your business to this place. Maybe it's one of those places that still tries to rip off women and other unsuspecting people (like the elderly) who they think don't know any better (it's amazing this still happens. Ugh.). But I do my research about average costs for such things and shopped around. And thank goodness. Jeez
