Most wonderful vet and staff for your pups. We had to put our dog down after he suffered from old age and the staff and vet were very compassionate. They lit a candle at the front desk signaling a family was saying goodbye to their pets and sent us a beautiful card after. Would highly recommended them!

Thank you All at Bridge Vet! From the person on the phone, coming out to my car, and Dr. Carabba, everyone was so amazing, polite, and personable! They made me and my cat feel at ease. I was able to email a video of my cat coughing for them to look at.The Dr. even called the next day to check up on my baby. I highly recommend!!!

I would rate them a zero but it's not offered as an option. We are very sad to say Dr. Carabba never examined our puppy Abby's mouth or gums during any of her well visits and this prevented us from detecting her jaw cancer until it was too late to treat. We spread out all her vaccines because we were concerned that multiple vaccines on a single visit could trigger seizures. She was in perfect health to the best of our knowledge but we went above and beyond to ensure her safety. Dr. Carabba had multiple opportunities to examine her mouth but never did. He was personable and we trusted him to do what needed to be done to keep Abby in good health. We discussed spaying and we explained we wanted to wait until after her second heat to consider it because we were informed by her breeder that spaying too early could trigger cancer. We didn't realize checking her teeth and gums should have been done as a regular part of well visits. On Monday 12/11/23, we brought Abby to see Dr. Carabba because we thought she had a dental infection because her gum was swollen and bleeding. I was also concerned her back paw on the opposite side of her body seemed spastic and she was limping on it. I wondered if her infection had gotten into her bloodstream. He prescribed an antibiotic and anti inflammatory. He chuckled and said she was limping on her back leg "maybe just because she was feeling sick." That made no sense to me. Was he implying that she was being dramatic and looking for attention? He said she should be better in ten days. If not, we could call him back. He did surprise us by saying the lymph node on the side of her neck where the dental swelling was seemed to be the size of a golf ball. As we left, he took a picture of Abby's mouth to share with Dr. Briggs, another veterinarian in the practice. I called back the next day to say I was concerned about Abby's pain and struggle to eat even with the medication he prescribed. He said he shared the picture of Abby's gum with Dr. Briggs and that they would try to get Abby in for surgery that week to "debulk" her gum. I was shocked and asked if it was cancer or something serious? He said he didn't know. I told him I was confused because on Monday he said she'd be fine in ten days and on Tuesday he said she needed surgery. I went to another vet for a second opinion and they recommended I go to Red Bank Veterinary Hospital immediately because of the seriousness of Abby's condition. After doing a cat scan and biopsy at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, their board certified veterinary dental surgeon said Abby's cancer had spread throughout her whole body and couldn't be treated with surgery or radiation. He was sad to tell me the news and I was shocked and devastated to hear it. Abby agonized in pain until Sunday 12/17/23 when we had to put her to sleep due to her suffering. It tore my heart apart to put our angel to sleep at 15 mos of age. It was a preventable tragedy. I share our heartbreaking story to prevent this from happening to another beautiful puppy. I would sincerely recommend avoiding this practice.

Made a last minute appt for our dog, Lily. Very kind staff, knowledgeable and sympathetic doctor. Although we had to say goodbye to our girl, we felt comfortable with the vet visit and that’s all that counts. Hope to use them in the future if needed.
