I've been here before and it's ok, mostly because it's always empty. Went today and after pumping in quarters I found out there was no soap in the brush. Switched bays, paid again, no soap. Paid twice for a carwash I didn't even get.

Just fyi your vacum on Saturday 5/11/24 was on for 5 min then put another dollar in & it continued to run after 10minutes tried calling # just to let you know as previous owners were great & would always come here for a quick car wash for many years! No complaints for the price. Just 1 broke vacuum in back, but quarters were returned. Thx

Absolutely horrible, went there a few weeks ago and to wash my jeep and the bay I went to the brush and soap was not working properly. When turning the dial to other options some of them to approx. 20 seconds to activate.I go there today sept. 15, 2023 at 5pm to vacuum my jeep and the far right vacuum I put four quarters in. The machine would not turn on. I went to another and it worked. Tired of loosing money to beach car wash.Finally, there is no phone number to call. I went on line and the number listed says no longer working, try another number. I will report all this to the town next week.

The brush with the soap was not there! Place seems a bit run down. And bring your quarters!

Not bad if you need to do quick power soap wash. The tire cleaner and prewash did not work and there was no type of spot free rinse. However powerwash and rinse had plenty of power and did fair job

If you need to get your car exterior washed quickly and don’t mind doing it yourself this is the spot for privacy and ease. I was in and out in 5-10 minutes

It was ok last time I was there, but I can't disagree with a lot of the other comments. Idk to me this place has some sort of old school charm, would love to be able to bring it back to it's full glory.

Barely has anything in stock in the vending machine. Never has the tire pre-soak or the wax.

Time for a remodel. I like going to self serve car washes. They are easier than washing at home. Normally the self serve car wash is a fast alternative to full service. They usually are much easier on you cars paint.Beach car wash formally Hoffman's, has run it's life. The various wash choices, tire wash, car pre-wash and also the suds brush weren't working. I got the feel they just hadn't been filled in a while. The brush for washing was so old and thin it was hard to use it without scratching the the car. The cash machine was broken, the vending machine empty. After wasting $5.00 on the worthless wash I skipped the vacs. They didn't look much better.Nope, drive right past this self serve. In my experience it was worth the stop.

Not sure what happened but, they took out all of the vacuums and garbage receptacles in the rear of the building. Also, the self-service bays are in a decrepit state. It used to be a nice place ?

Do not use this run down car wash. I lost $10.00 in the change machine. I called the phone number listed online and left a message, but no response after leaving three messages on three consecutive days. There should by law be a phone number listed on the premises in case you lose your money on their old coin operated machines. I would avoid getting your car washed here.
