This is the second time I’ve gotten my hair done in the last 2 months. Salma was late the first time, didn’t show up the 2nd time until hours later. My appt was with Salma and she never touched my hair the 2nd time. I excused the first time because she had 3 people working in my head which made up for lost time. The 2nd time:.. She sent someone in her place and the charge was $220 for subpar work. Very diff than Salma’s quality. I had to ask for braids to be re-done multiple times because she kept doing them larger while Salma laid on the couch and didn’t help. I will never return, ever. Pics below are of a supposed middle part??? I’m very much done.

Selma is a very good hair braider and I have been going to her for a long time.I had a appointment last week @9:30 am. She was not there by 10am. I tried calling her and her phone kept going to voice-mail. I called again @10:30 same thing. So I left and will never return again.Till this day she has never returned my call.Horrible customer service.

Made an appointment for my boys to get cornrows. When I came in 10 minutes early, they acted like they had no idea about the appointment but said they could get them done. I left my 12 year old there for 30 minutes and came back to new people in the chairs and my son still hasn’t been braided. I tried to ask how much longer because there were several women waiting for service. The employees flat out ignored me. I had heard they were rude but now I know.

Very unprofessional I made a hair appointment for Saturday she keeps insisting I be there by 9:30 am I get there they are not even open I call the number she says oh I have to call my sister and never calls me back very unprofessional and a waste of time.

This is the 1st African braid salon I've been to where the stylist TRIED to be polite. She actually apologized when I said, "Ouch." BTW, I'm not tender-headed. Besides that; the service was overpriced for the inexperience, lack of talent, and unprofessional techniques used to complete braid styles. I watched one braider put a lighter to the cornrows at the base of a customer's head and I could smell the client's long, healthy, natural hair burning under the Kanekalon hair. But, the stylist would not stop lighting her hair on fire. My micros were not micros: They were medium-sized individual braids. The knots unraveled the very next day and I lost several extensions within the 1st week. That tells me all the pulling and tugging was unnecessary. At least I didn't lose my edges. And thank God I know how to repair the mess she made. Maybe braiding hair for 23-years makes me too knowledgeable to sit in somebody else's chair. Just BEWARE!!!

Horrible service! I had a 4:30pm appointment. Get there and no one is there. I call them, owner answers and says she had to run out, but she will call me back in 30 minutes, and she will do my hair. I never got a call back. I called several times, and no answer, with a full mail box! Waited for an hour and a half before I left.
