“Nice hotel with restaurant but needs updating in furniture badly. A couch in the lobby most of the guests had trouble getting out of. The service is excellent. A friendly and accommodating staff! ( we were there in a wedding block)**NOTE- if you cannot lift your leg high you cannot use the Bath/Shower lol. Seriously!”

“We just came to the inaugural Wine Wednesdays. What an amazing experience! It was like a mini wine dinner but a specially curated menu with perfect wine pairings and on our schedule. We will be back <3”

“The general manager was very kind and accommodated my error when I booked the correct hotel, but in the wrong city. He allowed the change, due to the honest mistake, without without penalty. Wonderful customer service. His hotel looked very clean and nice. I probably should’ve stayed there because the other hotel that I ended up going to, even though it is a Hilton, was not as nice.”

“The room was a bit dark. Even during the day. Could have used more lighting. Wish there were more affordable eating options nearer the hotel. Billing for the room was a bit strange. I would stay there again.”

“Not pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms. Room #1 smelled of fish even tho staff left the window open I guess to air it out before we arrived so we had to go get febreeze and glade plug ins. There were stains on the curtains and sofa. Also there were no bath towels in the room. Room #2 also had the window open to air out, a plug in I'm assuming was left by a previous guest because Room #1 did not have one, and there were tufts of hair like from someone's hair brush behind one of the night stands. It was a mediocre stay but at least the hotel was quiet and close to many stores and restaurants.”

“Chauncey was the perfect place for us and our wedding. I wanted a fall wedding and the entire property is so beautiful! Amanda, our Wedding coordinator made everything fall into place perfectly. There was even a moment where we couldn't find my Dad's tie (we did!) and she was going to go to Target and get one for us like an hour before the wedding. They are on top of their timelines and really make sure the day is about you and how you want it. The food is delicious, the drinks are great, and the hotel was really nice. We had a Sunday wedding so we were in the Hotel rather than the Laurie House and we had an amazing time. So glad we found them and they made our wedding wishes come true!”

“I had my bridal shower here on January 14th, 2024 and it was amazing! Kudos to Roger, Carly, and the entire team who went above and Beyond servicing our group of 50 women. The ambiance was wonderful, food and cake excellent, and overall so cozy and the best place I could have had this event! Thank you all.”

“Nice clean rooms, good service, but the area is a little sketchy. Obvious drug users nodding out in the lobby, loitering and harassment in the parking lot. Not the fault of the hotel but they do need stricter security for customers to feel safe. Would not visit alone again.”

“A very well maintained property, and I like it. Starbucks is inside with decent food. There is no bar, so I recommend BYOB. Also, they give free ? bottles in the room, and there is supposed to be free breakfast. The best thing for me is the ability to watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube with my login credentials. The front desk young lady is very efficient. I am coming back!Rooms: Nice size, with a couch and a work table.Nearby activities: Close to Princeton University.Walkability: None, need a car.Food & drinks: Starbucks inside.”

“I use this location frequently as well as the Regency further up Rt 1. Usually nice stay. But plugin units by tv sometimes don't work. One room the panel was falling out. I need to plug in two laptops for work since there was only one outlet I can use by the desk. Maybe update with multi outlet with phone charger near the desk would be a nice touch.Other than that, rooms are clean, plenty of towels and breakfast offers variety. Plenty of parking though at various times from surrounding restaurants getting busy, hotel provides parking pass for guests. Convenient location off route 1 next to small mall.”

“It's okay... The AC blows directly on the bed in room 301. The ironing board needs a lot of help. Low shower pressure. It gets the job done I suppose. Breakfast is mostly cold-foods and grains.Walkability: Need a car”

“Stayed here for business and my experience was wonderful. Check in was easy since I’m a diamond member I got my waters and a warm cookie! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Didn’t get a chance to dine at the restaurant but I will next time I’m in the area. The gym and pool look great! The only downside was not a lot of parking in the front and not enough diamond member spots, there were only 4 and all were always taken!”

“We needed a room for a 2-day music festival on the shore (Asbury Park-Sea Hear Now). This hotel was the closest, reasonably priced hotel we could get and was only a 35-45 minute drive to and from the shore. The staff, well, Dominica, was the best host. Friendly, great at check in, accomodated an early check out. Very much appreciated. Also, close to several major highways. Would definitely stay there again.”

“The owners are extremely nice folks, they are obviously super hard working and take pride in their place as well.Rooms were spotless and smelled fresh. Hot water was immaculate.Location kind of sucks since you have to drive down the main route, can’t walk across the road to the shopping center. The room walls also were a bit thin. Either that or the person sleeping next door was the loudest snorer ever.Great hotel, good to book!”

“I selected a Smoking Room but did not expect burnt linen, several holes in blanket.Mini Refrigerator had a towel inside as it was leaking in room.Lastly NO coffee available.”

“This hotel has recently reopened as a Double Tree Hotel. We went for dinner and had a fantastic meal. 390 Prime is their new Steakhouse. They had a great selection of local craft spirits. Too many to try in one visit. We ordered most of the items on the menu and shared everything. One dish was better than the next. But the star of the night was the steak. I ordered the Filet and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. I look forward to my next visit.”
