What happened to the other lady that use to be here? She was so much nicer, and definitely more people oriented. They have a new person, and she’s not the nicest at all! I dread coming here Becuase they are slow and notice that people that people cut the line, but say nothing. She has attitude and just the way she says things she can try to be nice about it. I hate how much things have changed, what happened to people being nice? To be courteous.

This location, like a few others, is never open on time. They're supposed to be open by 10a, but they never are. They sometimes put a sign up on the door with a bogus excuse on what time they choose to open that day. I've seen the line go out the door and down the street at times. Could be managed better.The carriers deliver the wrong mail to us often. I'm sure our mail has gone to the wrong place several times as well. I also agree with the other poster about the rubber bands. They throw them on the ground all over the sidewalks.

Mail carriers leave rubber bands on my property, mail gets soaked when it rains, does not always close the mailbox, do not try to deliver letters needing a signature just leaves a note for me to pickup (I have been home when this happened)

My experience today was terrible !! First i walked in and there's people with NO MASK waiting in line !!!! Picking up and sending items , second when is time for my to come forward the lady (post office worker ) told me YOU CAN'T send THAT box your are not allow to use DUCK TAPE AND TOLL ME I HAD TO BUY CLEAR TAPE FROM THEM AND RESEAL THE BOX .... walked out when over to the FANWOOD POST OFFICE AND HAD NO PROBLEM SENDING MY BOX!!! It happen today Saturday 6/6/2020

No parking lot. You have to park on the street either on the same side or across the street. The of the 3 other nearby post offices, Plainfield on Watchung Ave and 2nd Street and Scotch Plains on Park Ave also lack a parking lot. But Fanwood PO on South has a small one.
