Absolutely horrible service!!!!!!Mail dropped our mail on neighbors yards , and on are front lawn , when it rains are mail is dripping wet . When we spoke to the post master . There is no care in the world , very rude .

This is the worst post office in the United States. I called today at 1:40pm the employees at this location pick up and hang up the phone without saying hello. I called the N. Plainfield post office spoke with Jyoti who told me she can not help me because the mail comes from Plainfield. I am having issues receiving my mail and the carriers also deliver mail to wrong address. I continue to speak with postal carrier whenever I see them which is rare because of my work schedule. I need this to change. The employees at the Watchung Plainfield location are horrible .Update- I change to 3 stars because I called back and spoke with Billy who was helpful. He gave me information on how to sign up online to obtain upcoming mail details, this way I can know the exact mail I am suppose to get. There is definitely improvement needed. I told Billy someone kept hanging up the phone and he said he has no way of telling who.

Any experience I've ever had to have regarding staff at the front desk and in specific a man by the name of Billy or Bill? Has been terrible. Except this most recent. Packages have disappeared and then after complaints magically been delivered after being reported to us as missing. Several times our carriers have delivered mail that is slit or torn open and its contents removed, yet still delivered? How? Why would you deliver mail thats obviously opened already and expect anyone to be okay with no explanation or apology. .When we've complained? Often we end up hearing there's nothing we can do. In a previous, recent case. We were told we'd be reached after a carrier was spoken to. But we never received a follow-up call. This quality of service is very sketchy. If something is damaged during sorting, why is it reaching our mailbox? There's no excuse, no matter how you slice it.I was suggested to request a harder cardboard packaging regarding enveloped mail. Which is fine, but that options isn't available when buying from certain online vendors. Again, no matter how you look at it there's no excuse for damage, or empty mail to reach our mailbox. This is one issue among several others we've had. And each time with a rare exception, nothing gets done and the same problem occurs again later on down the road.

The delivery persons doesn’t care about their job they put packages where not belong diferentes apts mailbox what they care is the conversation that they keep on their phone. That one of reason they don’t put the right mail in the right mailbox

Terrible, I agree with the person who made her comment, human relations rating zero stars. An Indian woman works there, she should be working in garbage recycling. That lady is daring and rude to the people who use that service. It's the United States Post Office. United States should be selective when selecting people who have to have contact with people regardless of their race. Reinforce a course in human relations and training for their staff. That lady should be removed from her position because she is so haughty and disrespectful.

This post office is a joke. They sent my package back to the sender with reason “insufficient address “ yet mails and other packages from the post office come to my same address. No notice, no email or phone call to clarify my address or even letting me know I should go pick up my package. When I went there, the lady at the window was like it was sent out today and they asked for my phone number to give it to the manager because he can ask the driver to get it out. Never received phone call from the manager and it went back to Illinois.

I had to go here because the other Post office that I normally go too, their system was down. It a long time for someone to help you and the lady who finally attended me was rude. I would never go back to this location again. They need to hire a new set of employees, or hire a supervisor who will do a better job at looking over the staff.

I mail is not being delivered and when it does, sometimes I have to deliver my neighbors mails because the carrier is not doing their job

The Lady from the from desk is really rude , they don’t have communication with others , they need more friendly and understanding people to work there , they don’t know how to work at all always with a actitud.
