Worst bank ever! Never have I ever received such an horrible service like I did today in this bank. The lady who denied me to take money out my own account was rude and told me to leave. Theodora C Boone has a nasty attitude. Worst service!

Went in for a simple voided check to update my direct deposit and was told that I couldn’t get one for my own security safety. I was instead given a “professional” letter stating my personal information but with no reference to PNC whatsoever, and a certified PNC document that stated for I to give my employer the letter AND a copy of voided check for direct deposit change. Staff wasn’t very welcoming so I decided to go to another Plainfield branch but arrived too late because they weren’t letting customers in after 12:40pm on a Saturday. Now I have to wait until next week to set up my direct deposit because I work an on-site 9 to 5 job. Not so great experience with PNC Bank right now.

This review is towards the bank manager
Theodora C Boone. This lady is the worst human I came encounter with in a very long time. My fiancé had an issue with her account, ( unknown charges) she reported this; and the card was cancelled which was fine. On the phone they told us visit the local pnc to get a new card. We visited this branch in south avenue, Plainfield. After waiting almost two hours in the lobby, they ask her to get her passport port because somewhere on the account it is showing permanent residence. i don’t know what that have to do with anything but we went back home and got the passport. Brand new passport we received from home land security, this lady say was counterfeit. Waste almost 3 hours of my time. She has no customer service skills or empathy or knowledge about passports. We traveled l in November 2023 international on this passport, so i am trying very hard to understand how she came up with such assumption. Some of these folk really have issuess, and should choose different professions. I wasted 3.5 hours of my time just to go to another branch and was out in 10 minutes.. I don’t recommend this branch to no one. And i will be following up with this issue. This lady is not qualified for this position.

Horrible service, I have been with this bank for many years and I must say this bank has gone to the dogs. Why should they have a ATM machine in the bank and when something goes wrong the bank is saying that the machine doesn't belongs to them. So do business at your own risk. They are always short staff, and does not notify the customer of any changes. Close this bank

This particular location on South Ave in Plainfield, from the manager to certain employees they are very rude to customers. Every time I've been there it's always an issue . Any other PNC I walk into I'm treated with kindness and the tellers are happily to assist you !

I made a visit twice this week to this PNC on south ave. They were not attentive and when they finally got around to assisting me they were not helpful. It was like i was bothering them when trying to get answers. The one lady in the cubicle towards the back was rude and dismissive. They need to do better!!!

I’m not one to write reviews, but I needed to for this place. If you need something done, don’t come here. Go to another PNC. The initial person who tried to help me was trying his best but was new and couldn’t get his way around helping me. But EVERYONE else who worked there either couldn’t or wouldn’t help in assisting him or me. After waiting for around 45 mins, they told me to go to another PNC because maybe they could assist me better. So now I am recommending the same.

When you walk into this PNC you will be ignored. There is another branch on the West End of Plainfield near the downtown area. And they will treat you like you're an actual customer for 21 years and deserve to at the least be acknowledged when you walk in the door. I sat and waited alone for 15 minutes only to have Bruce the banker walk up to the next guy who came in after me and asked him if he needs help and completely not even acknowledge me. NEVER AGAIN.

Worst location. They keep getting rid of staff, poor management from higher ups they cannot keep this place well managed. Everytime I go i meet a new person, so inconvenient when it comes to managing my accounts. No one speaks spanish at the desk now.Im sure they god rid of the spanish guy there too, shame on this location.
