This might be considered a little unfair that 5 stars was not provided, but I believe it is just. I spent a decent part of my morning attempting to contact the Piscataway location. But every option of the phone prompts would ring at first, then go straight to a dead line signal. I wasn’t sure if they only accepted repairs by appointment, and, if I didn’t have an appointment…would anyone even be there? I tried to call again at 3pm, but same issue. I took a chance and drive there. Thankfully, it was open, as I entered someone arrived quickly from the back room and luckily they had my screen in stock. They did have prior repairs, but were able to repair my screen in less than 3 hours. I received an email confirming the repair, and collected my phone by 6:30pm. Apple would have charged me $329 plus tax. iBreakItUFixIt does charge more than Apple for OEM glass, so I elected for an aftermarket compatible. Apple would never offer this option, and it’s much more affordable…especially given that it was my 11-year-olds’ iPhone 11 Pro Max hand me down. Very happy with the service, and it is warrantied for a year against any defects….(not if YOU break it again though). Cheers.

My experience with ubreakIfix has been lackluster. It all started with my phone's battery dying prematurely and being given an option by my carrier to send it in for a warranty replacement or to bring it here. My carrier basically sold me on coming here because they said it would take a minimum of 10 to 14 days if I sent it to have my phone fixed, and it would be the same day if I went here. None of this information was provided by them it was all provided through my carrier so I decided to come here.I went to the store to drop off my phone, and they told me they would need to order the part which would take at least 3 to 4 days. So I took my phone back and showed up 3 to 4 days later, they confirmed they had the part and I left it there. They were supposed to fix it that day and unfortunately they did not have my password which apparently held up the process because they could not test the phone. Although it was a battery issue, in my mind does it charge and hold said charge, because you can test that without opening it. Regardless I got it the next thing. This is where things got wonky, later that day I realized my camera no longer worked when I went to get a QR code. Being that the camera work before dropping it off I assumed it was related to the repair. Because I didn't have time the next day at work 2 days later I had to drop the phone back off It was supposed to take a day and they needed my password again and requested it through email, so at least there was now a record and I got it the next thing. They said that the cable for the camera had come off the board.Fast forward to a month later, I could feel something large loose inside my phone, I called my carrier they basically said since this store fixed it their responsible to fix it again and my option to the carrier was to just purchase a new phone at whatever price point they had. not my favorite thing because of what happened before, but I reluctantly went back to the store. I told them I thought it was the battery as you can feel something move, and by this point the camera had also stopped working again. They told me the adhesive on the replacement batteries was not the best and that they could look at it I get back to me the same day. They said they would call me when it was done, and I reminded them that they had my phone, so I left my wife's phone number. I was starting a new job the next day and was mildly frustrated but felt relieved that I would be able to have my phone for then. Until I didn't, and once we called them no one answered and then they were closed. The next day I stopped in to get my phone, and they told me they never called because they didn't have the password, hover when I dropped it off they reference the email where I sent them the password, so I gave it to them again and they were able to have it put back together within an hour or two. When I picked it up I told him I still noticed the shaking, and the person told me that it was the camera lens. I told them that I thought it was not the camera lens because in all the time I've had this phone I've never felt it shift like this and that this feels like the battery and I was told I was wrong. Fast forward a few hours after they're closed, I realized that they had given my phone and upgrade with a quick turn off function, all I need to do was put the phone in my pocket or turn it upside down when I had it in my hand and the phone would automatically turn off. Extremely frustrated I ended up ordering a new phone because I couldn't keep dealing with this. And luckily my new job let me out early that day and so I went back to the shop to explain the new upgraded feature and a different clerk was at the front and told me the shaking is likely the battery and was able to look at it right away. Deciding to wait because I figured something would go wrong and they would need my password again, which they did even though I was doing it to them three times at this point, once in an email that pulls up apparently when they look at my profile. I came to this uBreakiFix because of an earlier appointment at another location, had gone from bad to worse because of their incompetence. When that happened, I called here to ask if they had the battery my phone needed in stock. They said yes, so I drove 30 minutes here. When I arrived, the clerk, with an unhelpful attitude, said that I had to call Verizon to make another appointment with them, if I wanted service there, even after I explained that I already had one with uBreakiFix the same day.It seems they don't have the technology -and/or the willingness, to handle Verizon's customers, open their account and switch locations for appointments. It is unimaginable that a tech support business lacks the basic software to make a simple adjustment and, make money for their business. So, this should give you a glimpse of how untrusty they can be with your devices.I had to leave the place to call Verizon Tech Support and when I explained what was happening, they arranged a different way to resolve the issue with my phone. Hopefully they report this incident to Verizon as they promised. But, this experience was not only a product of the unprofessional staff, their juvenile incompetence and attitude, but the unfortunate partnership that Verizon chose to make, which makes it look bad and should make us wonder if it's worth all the money we're paying for insurance.

On September 9, 2023, I brought my Pixel 2 phone to the uBreakiFix (Store # 280) in Paramus NJ location. This was the closest store to me at the time my phone stopped working. I informed the store associate my phone screen was not working, however, I’m able to hear incoming calls and texts. Also, informed the store associate that my phone screen was replaced in June 2023 at another uBreakiFix (Piscataway NJ) location. He checked my account to confirm and coverage warranty. He informed me the part was not available, but he could order the part and I would need to leave my phone. I told him I would bring my phone to the location where I got my screen replaced since I do not live in the Paramus area.On September 11, 2023, I brought my phone to the uBreakiFix (Store # 286) in Piscataway NJ location via walk-in. I wanted to leave my phone to start the process. The store associate (Sharmyle) informed me the part was not available. And I should continuously call the store to check if the part is available. I told him to have the store call me when the part becomes available. He replied, “This is a high-volume store, but will call you when the part is available”. I felt the store associate was brushing me off.On September 18, 2023, I made an appointment for the Piscataway location. I wanted to drop off my phone regardless of whether the part was available at the store. Per their part service policy, there is a coverage on the phone part for one year. The store associate again told me I could not drop off my phone because the part was not available now and something about bogging down their repair queue. I told him please show me the store policy where I cannot drop my phone. After some back and forth, the store associate was not able to provide the store policy. During the back-and-forth session, all I asked for was a store policy stating why I could not drop off my phone. Store associate, Sharmyle, came out the back and was still not able to provide the store policy on why I couldn't drop off my phone. I called the uBreakiFix (Store # 720) in Iselin/Woodbridge NJ location while at the Piscataway store location. I spoke with Ivan, the manager, and explained my phone screen issue while on the speaker phone. He informed me I could drop off my phone at their location, however, the part was not available at the store. Sharmyle and the other store associate refused further service and walked into the back. While on speaker phone with Ivan, Sharmyle states they have the right to refuse service and they will call the police on me.Unfortunately, I was not able to have my phone serviced/repaired at the Piscataway location because the customer service was inadequate. This is unacceptable! Why are two other stores willing to assist me? And the Piscataway store was not? I have had my phone service by the Piscataway store location a few times in the past without any issues. To resolve the problem, I would appreciate some form of clarity as to why this happened. Also, I want to say thank you to Ivan at the uBreakiFix Iselin location. Ivan was extremely helpful, professional, and nice while speaking with him on the phone.

They were finally able to repair my computer after having it for close to 2 weeks (12 days). I was told it would take about 5 to 7 days. Communication by telephone was not good.

I dropped off a phone that needed the front glass replaced through an insurance claim. They told me it would be completed in about 2 hours. They took my reach number and never called me. I tried calling several times, but they never answered. When I went into the store shortly before closing, they told me there was a problem with the repair ticket, and it would hopefully be fixed the next day. The next day, I couldn't reach them by phone until my 5th try. After waiting for 20 minutes in the store for help, i was finally given the phone. There was no communication at all during the process until I actually drove back to the store. Very poor customer service and handling of my claim.

Asurion made me an hour long appointment and told me the service would take about that long and would be free with my insurance. I drove almost 40 minutes just for them to tell me "we don't even do appointments" and that they would need to retain my device for 48 hours, on top of that they said it would be 100 dollars. I explained what I was told by their parent company and the guy shrugged at me and said I don't know what to tell you. Not only that but he went in the back to ask someone else and I could clearly hear them talking about my case. Overall there was no customer service, no follow through, and what is the point of making an hour long appointment?? Left without a fix and likely will be returning my device to asurion for a refund as well

This repair shop's service was extremely disappointing. I brought in my MacBook Pro because it had issues with recharging and the USB-C ports. However, I later found out that they hadn't actually performed a proper diagnostic. They didn't even open up the laptop to investigate the problem thoroughly. To make matters worse, they lost my laptop charger during the process and assured me that they would order a replacement. Unfortunately, they never followed through on their promise to replace the lost charger.Overall, I had a terrible experience with this repair shop, and I would not recommend their services to anyone with electronic device issues. Their lack of professionalism and failure to fulfill their commitments left me very unsatisfied.

Awesome job by Andrew. Fixed my dead Samsung A51 phone with a flex wire and new charger port. Saved pictures of my family from years past. Highly recommend those guys!

Extremely horrible experience. The staff has no clue of what they are supposed to do. Went in twice with a phone and laptop problem but couldn’t fix it either of the times. Very rude people and have no sense of customer service. I literally told them this was the worst experience I’ve had and wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone. The guy was like yeah okay. No apologies at all. I have seen multiple people come in and address that the staff hasn’t fixed the problem but only increased it but guess what, the staff couldn’t care less. I guess they can only diagnose a problem ( which is incorrect most of the times) but can’t work on anything. I don’t think they require a store for that. I wouldn’t mind spending an extra few bucks and having the issue fixed rather than going to these idiots.Save your time and avoid a headache by not going to this store.

They are the best! I dropped my iPhone 14 in the pool and it shut off WITH condensation in my lens. They took it replaced the screen and cleaned the water out! It was good as new but condensation was still in the lens… but it eventually went away! But I’m so grateful! Great costumer service and fixed it in a timely manner!

Do not trust this store with your phone. I came on a Friday afternoon with an appointment to see about getting my phone fixed and they told me that because the store was closing soon and they couldn’t do it in less than 3 hours so I had to come back the next day. When I returned the next day they told me that the repair would take 24 or more hours and maybe I need to leave it for longer.I stopped in to have a minor issue fixed because I had a line showing up on my screen and by the time I came back 9 hours later my entire phone was broken. My Z fold front screen is now cracked and not working. The screen was shattered and all the employees could say was sorry it was an accident. To be clear, when I got to the store my phone was in perfect condition with the exception of a line on the inner screen showing up. Not only did they destroy my phone, but they also did not even call me to let me know that this had happened. I had to call to check on the status of my repair and they put me on hold forever to then reluctantly let me know what had happened. Then, I had to ask them if I could come and pick up my phone that they had broken and the person on the line said they would try to put it back together for me to pick it up before they closed.I strongly suggest someone take a look at who is working on the technology behind the scenes at this location because this experience is a nightmare and now I need to figure out what I’m going to do with my newly broken phone thanks to this location.

My phone had internal damage at no fault of my own. I took it back and was met by Shammah, who served me with excellent, professional service. I appreciated their integrity in honoring my 1yr. Warranty with them. As a truly satisfied Customer, I will recommend them to others. Thanks for this opportunity to share my experience.

I was given a two hour repair window for my screen. Three and a half hours later, I had no response so I stopped in. I was told the tech was still working on it. 5 min later I was told that the device could not be repaired.I was informed that the phone failed the “post repair diagnosis”. They were not able to tell me exactly what the issue was, or why the repair was not possible. Or why they didn’t tell me sooner….So they gave me my device back……with the broken screen still on. I asked, and they told me that they put the broken screen back on! Well, certainly they didn’t! There’s no way they put back dozens of cracked pieces PERFECTLY where they were.Dude lied to my face about it.

STAY AWAY !This is a franchise store, not a corporate store. They repaired my phone, then called me moments later and asked if I could return to the store to help them with their ticket. The tech took me phone and then told me he had to "unrepair " it because of a "IMEI number" issue. We went back and forth and he not only "unrepaired " my phone, but rendered it inoperable. I went to another ubreakifix location and received satisfactory service the next day. Stay away. They are rude, incompetent and unprofessional.
