I bought a few items here, then looked at the expiration date and it expired months ago. Also be careful of the milk, my one year old got sick a few times throwing up due to spoiled milk here; I think they let it sit too long somewhere before putting it on the shelf because it's smelled bad/been spoiled a few times from here (even though the date was fine). I feel like they don't practice food safety well here. This milk issue has happened 3 times and now I'm never going back to this store. I buy the same brand of milk (stonyfield organic) at other stores and never have any issues.

I called to check on the availability of a prescribed med that I've been having trouble filling. I was scoffed at and told "there are already like 5 people waiting for that to come in. Its on national backorder." As if I subscribe to Pharmacists Weekly. A small tip to the pharmacy worker I spoke with, kindness is free and your failure to offer any has certainly made it easy for me to never utilize your services.

I'm being generous with the 3 stars. Here i am in line at your store. I have my own bags. Why do you let the cashiers bag? This is what takes so much time, let us bag and if the person is incapable of bagging then help and bag. In gonna say retire the lanes made for only the cashier to bag because it's very awkward trying to use our big reusable bags in those lanes and they make operations very slow

Don't go here for produce, meat, or dairy. In the last 3 months we got spoiled pork, 2 times. Rancid yogurt with good exp dates,. Rotten tomatoes, bell peppers, strawberries etc. Notified management multiple times. I guess only go here if you need dry goods, but easier to find another store. Sad, it's falling apart

The front end manager there, Mary, is terrible to employees. Especially one hard working one that stays when people call out sick but when she called out, the employee got punished by not getting any hours next week. And because of the payroll issue so much money is owed to her and she has bills to pay. And she tried going to the store manager about it but he also told her she's screwing over the store by leaving because she wasn't feeling well. Honestlt fix the managers here or this store will go down the drain

I went everywhere looking for lady fingers to make tiramisu and they were the only store that carried it. After browsing around one of the employees at the bakery section helped me find what I wanted. I ended up buying more than I needed and they have this self-moving robot going around the store which was cool to see. Tip - if you come here make sure you make a membership (free) so you can get the discounts and check the prices during checkout since sometimes their systems aren't updated. But overall, a decent selection with items other stores may not have. Personally had a pleasant experience and will come back again!

Expect to find the typical groceries you need. Not a friendly place though from my recent visits. I rarely saw a checker though, so I used self service most of the time. . I needed flowers a couple days and stopped here. The floral and balloon selections are great. Well worth downloading/signing up on their website for club pricing because I saved over $10 on my last transaction by doing that. Wish I'd known sooner.

This is a good Stop and Shop! This is not my local one, but I like to drive to a new store whenever I have the chance! I have to say I do like this one! In terms of cleanliness, the store by me which is the Stop and Shop on Easton ave is much cleaner! This specific store is not clean at all, and is very well down looking! Sort of like the Stop and Shop in Highland Park! Read my review about that one! Despite this, I found everything that I needed, and the store is very well stocked. You could find everything very easily! Staff is friendly too, and there's lots of staff to help you! Overall, very good store, despite not the cleanest!

We popped into this Stop and Shop for some healthy snacks while visiting Piscataway and we were not disappointed. This store had an abundant selection of organic fruits and veggies, as we ll as crunchy snacks. Our favorite that we found was Off the Eaten Path chickpea veggie crisps. Yum! The store was well-stocked and clean the night we were there. And when we were secruing some yogurt, we saw a robot coming down the aisle toward us. My other friend who was visiting was just as awestruck as I was. We didn't even think to get our phones out to take a photo. Turns out it was a shopper robot that roams the aisles of the store, making sure that everything is tip top. Pretty cool!

Had nothing in stock no water, chicken, meat, milk, eggs, oj, tp, bread. Nothing. In times like this your store needs to put limitations on things. This is ridiculous and unacceptable what one is able to buy at once.

This is the closest grocery store to my place but I avoid going here. The prices are always so much higher than shop rite! It looks like there are deals but they're deals on raised prices. The produce section sucks. It's expensive and the veggies aren't fresh. I just came to get broccoli and they only had super soft, slightly moldy ones left. The main reason to come here is convenience. Hopefully, someone from stop & shop sees this and takes care of that produce section at least. Like are they not getting deliveries everyday? Is it because no one wants to buy as much because prices are high? Aim for the dry goods.
