Never really had a big problem with this place. Only thing to look out for is your sandwich after you order it. Sometimes there will be people who come in and not even order a sandwich and just take a sandwich someone else ordered while they’re not paying attention.Old Queens is the best sandwich in my opinion.

Good place to get deli-style food for a meal swipe. Also great place to get snacks and groceries. If you live on Livi then make sure to check it out

Tasty sandwiches but lacks variety missing some popular ones like corned beef or pastrami. Long business hrs and accepting meal swipes are plus.

Only place on campus that stays open late an accepts mealswipes. If you're working on an essay and feeling hungry but don't wanna break the bank, Kilmer's is your place. They have problems with keeping stuff on shelves though.

A great place to get a convenient bite to eat, simple groceries and other convenience store items. Rutgers students can use their meal swipes here!

Best sandwich on Rutgers campuses

Kilmer's market is not a grocery store, so don't expect a wide variety of items. It's more like a deli/small convenience store, which is okay if you just want a sandwich, but I have never found anything I was looking for. I don't even think they stock onions. Their produce section looks like it's designed for people who only eat kiwis and garden salads. Really wish Rutgers had some kind of on campus grocery like I've seen seen at other universities.

Good for if you need an avocado or need some simple vegetables, but nowhere near a real supermarket. Also, many items don't have price tags, so be prepared to be surprised at the register. A 1.25 oz packet of beef jerky cost $4, where you can get 18oz of beef jerkey on Amazon for $20. And the receipts don't show the breakdown of items; I figured it out by subtracting the prices of the items that had price tags from my total. Don't think it was a mistake either, as the cashier had to scan and then rescan because if possibly an error.

The bagels I get are ALWAYS burnt. Every now and then they aren’t. The staff doesn’t care and will just hand you a completely burnt bagel. It’s ridiculous. Would rate 0 if I could.

Great place for meal swiping tasty sandwiches and snacks. (You have to swipe for snacks&drinks but it's a pretty good non-dining hall place for takeout)
