I would give zero stars if I could. I had gotten a set of 4 tires at a pep boys in north brunswick and I was having a slow leak from one tire, so I took it to the closer pep boys in piscataway, and all I can say is STAY AWAY from that particular location. They would not let me make an appointment and then had me wait from 11am to 530 pm for them to check on my tire and additionally, I am convinced that they lied about even checking it. They said they did not find any problem or item causing a leak and "said" they resealed the tire and sent me on my way after hours of waiting for something that should have taken a short period of time. They were extremely rude and dismissive in addition to their lack of accomodation for a simple issue. Because of this, I had to spend additional time taking it to the original store where they installed the tires and they were very nice there and found the nail that was in my tire within an hour and charged me the $25 to patch it. Moral of the story is don't ever go to the Piscataway pep boys... they are HORRIBLE there.

Last time I waited 3 hours for an oil change and yesterday they told me it would be 2+ hours (this is with an appointment). Told him no thank you, took my keys back, & went to Valvoline across the street ($103 full synthetic in 15 minutes). Pep Boys' prices also went up so it's not like you were getting a deal anyway! Never again.

Proceed with caution! Be careful going here folks. They claimed that they rotate my wife tires and she noticed tire pressure was not aligned. She came and complain and they pump additional air into the tires and all tires had different pressures. Some as high as 39 and 37 PSI - they claimed that this is normal. Customers are not stupid. And claimed how would we know. Customers have digital tire gauge as well. Claimed that TPMS May be at fault. I have a tire gauge. Huge customer safety concern here! Mentioned this to them and they did not care. Will be notifying corporate.

To be fair, I did not receive any service at this business today. I was looking for new windshield wipers, but this location is no longer a store. Their car servicing department, however, still open. Before I got up to the door to realize the store was closed, I drove into a hole in the parking lot. The hole is filled with rainwater, so didn't see it. Beware of huge potholes as you drive through the parking lot to avoid damages your wheels.

There some noise on my car so we decided to check and chose Pepboys in Piscataway. They evaluated and found something in cooling fan so they gave us a quote and paid the money. After we picked up at night the next day going to my work I almost got in accident. Check engine warning pop up, my car start jerking, and the hood a lot of smoke came out. I started to get nervouse, and still blessed and lucky i got a chance to stop and run and still a lot of smoke on my car. I called my husband and brother. My brother is also a auto technician and so mad when he found out the hose is not connected and there is no coolant. I almost got KILLED !!! I am a nurse trying to help and save lives of many. But for what happen to me got traumatized, affected my job on that day that I've been planning for my patients got ruined.I am not the type of person complaining but due for what happen to me Pepboys should checked everything before they will released the car. Called Pepboys Piscataway and said the nearest place will do the job. My car got towed going to Bridgewater. Pepboys said still in the warranty!! But my car got worse after they did it. And it is not only the warranty here. I almost got in ACCIDENT!!!!! And sounds that they dont care. Everytime we called said it is in Bridgwater now so contact them. But you in Piscataway are the main reason of this negligence!! And after Bridgewater done they want us to pay. Because Piscataway is poor in communication too! Please do your job! It is not only for the money! You have to think for the safety and effect that you will cause! For me choose the better place for your car to work done!! And find also that they feel their customer too. Not only because of the warranty but also the type how they work!!!!!!!!!

I have rented from Hertz for years and now I will never use them again. The costumer service online is tremendously hard to reach and I think its on purpose. Returning the vehicle was a nightmare. I was confused the location is open or closed because this isn't the first time as I spoke to someone working in Pepboys for service. They leave a piece of paper to tell people to go to another location where most rentals have a dropbox to save time. I am shocked that a place that's been around this long does not have one. The rental vehicle had maintenance due and I kept coughing because they didn't change the air filter. They told me that the car was clean but after the air freshener wore out I started to smell something musty. I would never recommend them. I will go back to Enterprise Rentals.

Stay away - thieves - taking advantage of persons capable of child birth...The daughter had a flat tire, nail clearly on the thread of tire. Requested tire repair (a patch, not a plug). Pep boys just installed a new tire and said our tire was unrepairable due to sidewall damage (nail visibility in thread) . They installed some fugazee brand and grossly overcharged her.STAY AWAY, we could have spent less at the dealership for a new matching brand tire! This was my daughter's fault as much as pep boys for allowing them to take advantage of her & change the tire if needed without prior verbal notification to her. Of course, they're going to chang that tire - Karma comes back hard... (Come to think of it - maybe it already has! What kind of life is a Pep boy service manager living?)

Absolute WORST experience I have ever had at the Piscataway Pep Boys!! Will NEVER go back there again! I called a day before for an appointment which I was given. I waited 4 hours for an oil change!!! Absolutely ridiculous!! I was lied to by Juwon as he kept telling me it would be another 30 minutes then another 45 minutes then Oh, we're bringing your car in now, then waited another 30 minutes. The Service Manager was no better, Rah Green..just nonsense excuses!I should be compensated for my 4 hours of waiting!!!

I really wanted to have a great review for this establishment but unfortunately I can't fake the funk. I ordered tires off of tire rack and choose to get them installed here. Let's just say pick another place and if you do pick this place watch out for the extra bogus charges.

0 stars if I could.I had a very noticeable air bubble in my front tire so I had ordered on tirerack.com for the tire to be shipped to a nearby tire store, so I chose this Pep Boys location. I got into the shop at my appointment time and let the front desk guy know that I was there to have the tire replaced only. After a while they ask me to come out to look at the computerized alignment, a service I didn't authorize prior. At the end, the front desk guy told me the charges of over $160 for a tire replacement. I let him know that I had paid for the tire on tirerack.com already for $154, and he made up some lie telling me that I only paid tirerack.com to HOLD the tire while the shop fee of over $160 was TO PAY FOR the tire itself and that's it. I told him all I authorized and wanted was for the tire to be balanced and replaced, nothing more than $30 ($22 estimate on tirerack). I asked him to show me the itemized paper receipt which he was holding in his hand. He did not put down the receipt or let go of it, and he reinforced that the charges were for the tire itself. After, he told me there was a $17 warranty fee that he can take down. I agreed and I watched him play with the computer and the total due amount stayed the same, even when he said that my total was final with the $17 warranty taken down. This man really told me, to my face, that he took the charge out, while I watched the register and see that the balance did not go down one cent. I paid and went home. After a few days days (Saturday) I looked over the receipt given to me, and in all caps across the top, the cashier really typed "CUSTOMER AUTHORIZED SERVICES AND APPROVED OF CHARGES, WITH INCREASE" I decided to dispute as I never authorize anything more than a tire replacement and balance. I had already paid for the tire on tirerack and this man knew it! I called the shop and it must have been the same guy picked up the phone. I explained to him my situation and he went over the receipt. I insisted I wanted a refund and the man said he had no access to refunds until Tuesday, but kept offering me a few free oil changes to get it over with instead. I said no and called corporate to file a formal complaint. After getting in touch with corporate, I received a call back from the shop telling me the refunds were approved and to come back on Tuesday for my refund. I came back into the shop on Tuesday without much issues getting my refund for the services that I did not know about or approve. The man listed as the salesman is Christophe(r?) Very dishonest and very bad business practices, lied to my face not only about the breakdown of the total costs but also taking down an extra charge which he did not end up doing. I will not be coming back here and advise everyone else to not come around this tire shop because they really tried to take advantage of a paying customer who only needed a tire replacement. Seriously, authorize the services with the customers before you do them. Also.. don't lie to your customers multiple times to their face. It did not go unnoticed with me.

Got a call from Hertz early this morning due to my insurance company making a reservation for me to get a car. When speaking with the lady who called me assuming she is one of the receptionist let me know that they wouldent have a car for me untill 3 pm when I had this reservation made since Saturday and without a car. When saying I needed a car earlier then that is insisted we cancel the reservation and in middle of saying thank you she hung up on me. Extremely rude customer service she was not straight forward with me I will never EVER rent from Hertz due to this experience.

Terrible service. Every time I've had to deal with this location there was no one at the desk and I had to wait 10-15 mins for someone.
When I called telling them I need an extension on my rental they said no problem and they'd just use the card they had on file. A few days later I got a call saying my rental was overdue.

The absolute worst experience you can possibly have renting a car. Do yourself a favor and go to Enterprise or Avis. Hell, even renting a truck from Uhaul would be a better alternative then going through this place.

You might be hard to find out this Hertz store directly from road side. This Hertz desk was located inside the Pep Boys store.
