I thought I need to give some updates since several friends and viewers were asking about how I think of the estimate prices and repairs in the Bridge Auto Services. To me I think the prices estimated are reasonable and the services are hood. I am giving a recent case, my problem, their solution, the estimate, and my decision as following. My recent repair for some noise in the back of my Honda CRV, which is a 25 year old car. Jimmy, Hau, and Jose, 3 machenics, had found: 1) loose metal equipments in the trunk spare tire space. [ their solution] wraping metal equipments and securing them in place. [Charge] $0. 2) rustic brake on the left back tire. [solution] not dangerous, no need to do anything, [charge] $0. 3) in the center back, the wrapping around plastic cushion was broken. [solution] get new part and change. [decision] change it. However, it took almost 4 hrs to unscrew the old broken part because the screws were all rusted and glued together. [charge] $200 (parts $87.79; labor $120). 4) weight bearing secure rubbers were all broken so the weight were moving while driving. [solution] no danger, no action needed. [decision] I would like it to be changed. [charge] $160. (parts $148, labor $15]. By the way, Jimmy always told me the estimates before they started any repair. For the back noise, I came to the Bridge Auto Services for 3 times. The front part of my Honda CRV also has broken rubber and plastic issues. But, since these issues won't cause any danger and interfere safe driving, so I decided to go down to New Orleans first. If there is any issue, I will fix it after I come back. Hope my case helps you guys. Cheers...

I've been taking our vehicles here for regular maintenance for a long time, and the service has always been great. Their mechanics are certified and do a great job with repairs on our older vehicles as well. Overall they're very professional and prices are competitive.

Our car was there two weeks and they couldn't give an estimate. Pretty nice in the beginning when they first got the business and after that attitude changed. Also they will keep asking if you want to buy their old junk car. If you want your car there are so many repair shops around the area to choose please be wise.

My son hit a cinderblock on 287 and bent the rim on his car. Long story short, I was charges almost $500 for a used rim and used tire sensor.$265 for the rim and mounting (used). Yes Walmart sells them new for $178.00 with free delivery.$25 for a used tire sensor (pepboys quoted me $120 for new, installed and programmed)$130 to program the tire sensor.and the rest of the bill was to look under the car and see if any other damage was done. of which which equated to cleaning off the the oil pan with a can of brake cleaner. ($5.00 at autozone, if you use the entire can)Very dishonest in my opinion. I know times are tough but charging customers like this is just wrong. does not do the right thing by the customer. There are better shops out there.. Don't get burned like I did.Services: General repairs & maintenance

My car ran out of coolant and began overheating. I only had cash and was $2 short, but the guy let me buy it anyway! He even checked out my car for free, and talked me through what I need to get fixed soon, what can wait, etc. It's a small place, and that does mean it's a tad more expensive, but I'd still recommend it. I'll definitely be going back... once I save up a bit more for the repairs...

I've been going to this place for all my car repairs in many years. The owner and his son are always honest about the repair and the price is always reasonable. In my most recent visit for water found on my passenger side floor, the Acura dealer wanted me to replace my entire windshield because of "water leaking" issue, but the owner, Jimmy, found out the water was from AC and fixed it in no time. That was the difference between amateur and expert. For those who complain about the labor charge, all I can say is that when it comes to professional service, you are not just paying for the 5 minutes they spend to analyze the problem. In face, you are paying for years of professional experience behind it instead.

1. Very expensive (5min engine check:98 bucks; 1 small part replacing: 900 labor) 2. Not honest. I checked my oil after I did oil change at this place. The oil was not changed at all. 3. They were not able to fix a problem, instead they tried something I've already told them that it was not the issue, and charged me 300+ bucks for fixing nothing.
